Mum moved into nursing 4 weeks ago and after concerns that she would not cope with the move as has been unable to communicate and has been extremely agitated and distressed prior to her move. After only 4 weeks the change is amazing and Mum settled as the team have managed to understand Mum quickly
and how to reduce her stress. For the first time in a long while they have managed to settle her so much that she can now join the other residents in the lounge and look calmer. Wonderful to see this.

After having to make the hardest decision to put my mum in care am so pleased to say the staff have made her stay as comfortable as possible and her interaction and her banter with staff have always made her feel like she can still be herself. Staff will always inform me to let me know if my mum isn't
well or if she has had the doctor or nurse see her, it also puts my mind at ease to know her room door can be locked when she isn't in her room all day and have never had a problem with items going missing. The staff at Aaron Grange have always been approachable and make you feel so welcome, they all do an amazing job, especially dealing with dementia patients.

The staff are an amazing team.
They care for residents, as would treat their own family. The staff do the best they can, and always on hand to help 24/7.
I think it's a lovely clean home and my dad is well looked after here, and happy.

When my sister-in-law moved to Aaron Grange it was a very stressful time for us all, we need not have worried. All the staff were amazing. They couldn't have done anymore to help us. We were kept informed at all times. When she was unwell they called the doctor and she was seen as soon as possible.
Her care was wonderful, you would go a long way to find such dedication.

My parents have been in Aaron Grange since the beginning of September. Both they and our family have been welcomed and shown such kindness. They are both very well cared for by everyone from management, carers, cleaners, kitchen staff, office and maintenance. Everyone always has a smile and a hello.
I always feel welcome when I visit. I feel everyone goes above and beyond. Thank you Aaron Grange for making a difficult time a little bit easier.

My Dad was cared for at Aaron Grange due to him suffering from dementia for only a short time. While he was there his dementia deteriorated very quickly. I noticed that he was getting more and more bruises on his forearms as if they were trying to restrain him. Dad had a fall and was unnecessarily taken
to the hospital with minimal physical injuries and was refused to be allowed back. It seems to be a policy of Aaron Grange for when a resident becomes awkward or hard to care for they send them to the hospital and then refuse to have them back, basically making dad homeless. I can say this because it happened to another resident who kicked my dad while he was there and when my brother asked what was happening their words were "Don't worry he's going to the hospital tomorrow and you won't see him again". After dad was refused back into the care home I sent an email. I'm still waiting for a reply we are now looking for a new care home which will support dads needs. I wouldn't send anyone here.

My brother moved into Aaron Grange Care Home in October 2021. He is very settled and happy. Always looks clean and is very well looked after by all of the lovely staff. The home is always spotless. We as a family are delighted with the love and care that is shown to our brother.

My mum has been living at Aaron Grange for 3 years now. I am happy with the care that she receives and the staff are always on hand. Sadly since lockdown, mum's overall mental health has deteriorated and now she does not leave her room. I bought her a radio for company and my brother got the TV working.
I am sure this has happened to many other care home residents locally and nationally. Overall I am happy with Aaron Grange.

It is a difficult thing to be able to find a place for a close relative to live with an illness. We looked at several places but are now very happy with our choice. My mother-in-law has settled well and the staff are friendly and attentive. Initially, it felt a bit strange just dropping in to visit

Excellent care home. Residents always look clean and well cared for and above all else, happy. Staff always ready to help even when thin on the ground. Great care from both carers and nursing staff during recent outbreak of influenza. Activities coordinator goes above and beyond to try and find suitable
activities for the wide range of ages in the home. Mum seems really happy here and this in itself helps me feel we did the right thing. Thanks.

Moving my mother-in-law into Aaron Grange was made so much easier for her and us by all the staff involved. Delighted with the care my mother is receiving, which is giving me peace of mind. She is always clean and well dressed and settled with the home very quickly. She is pleased with her room, and I regularly ask her if she is happy, and she always tells me that she is. It is also pleasing to hear that

The care my mother received here was excellent. She was looked after very well by exceptional staff who always had a smile and appeared to genuinely care for all of the residents. I started my career in care as a YTS at Aaron Grange in 1998, and for the past 25 years, I have worked in all roles within the home before progressing to my role as the manager. Throughout this time I have gained several qualifications including NVQ level 4.


My mission is to make our residents feel valued, respected and happy, they are our extended family.
