Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. Staffing is reviewed weekly by the Home Manager and the company’s Senior Nurse Managers and flexes according to occupancy and the dependency levels of our residents. It has been necessary to rely on agency staff for a time but we are pleased to report the return of staff who have been on long term sick leave and an intensive recruitment drive has been very successful. We are sorry a faulty TV in the upstairs lounge affected viewing. When notified of this on 6 January by staff, a replacement was immediately ordered and delivered to the home on 8 January; our residents are greatly enjoying the new 60 inch 4K Smart TV. We appreciate your kind offer to contribute towards the replacement however it is our responsibility to provide such items for communal areas; the staff were correct to advise as such.

Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. We are so pleased your relative enjoyed their stay with us at Roby House. Thank you also for your lovely comments about our staff team, they are delighted with this positive feedback. Our staff work very hard to provide person-centred care for all our Residents and its lovely for them to receive recognition of this. I would like to apologize for our current lack of scheduled activities, we are in the process of recruiting a full-time activities co-coordinator. In the meantime, we are doing our utmost to provide activities using our care and support team, and we are very much looking forward to our annual garden party in the summer.

We would like to re-assure you that following a review of our staffing levels we have recently recruited a number of staff for the home who will start over the next few weeks. The Home Manager regularly walks around both floors in the home, we also have a Deputy in the home, who supports the Home Manager particularly during the holiday period, both are happy to discuss any concerns with Residents and their family.
The home is due to have some refurbishment work on both floors in the home which will include new carpets and furniture. We are waiting for the start date for this work to be confirmed.
