We visited Maple Lodge without appointment as it was local and were welcomed by the manager who was open, honest, gave us a tour and offered lots of helpful
Mum transferred to Maple Lodge and was welcomed and cared for above and beyond. All the staff are caring and take a real interest in the residents. Her needs were quite complex and we felt the care team did everything they could.
Her health deteriorated despite the best efforts of the care team to support her needs and encourage her to eat. They showed real concern for both her and our family with staff staying beyond the end of their shift to wait with us for an ambulance to be sure she was okay.
They stayed in contact with us whilst Mum was in hospital and assisted in helping find nursing care for her when she was discharged as her needs had increased further.
