The home is a very welcoming place. The staff are extremely approachable, helpful and very friendly. Any problems and worries can be discussed in confidence. Overall the home is a happy place.

On the whole good but I found that my age and mental capacity was much better than most of the other residents and made me somewhat isolated. Activities were sparse, I was told this was because of Covid. Generally, I found rooms etc to be pleasant and conditions good. My markings below I find awkward
because I don't think anything can be excellent unless it is perfect, things rarely are. The staff were friendly.

I have been visiting my friend at Hampton Court for a long time now and I am just so happy with the way the staff treat the residents and how they have kept everyone safe throughout Covid. I have built a good relationship with the manager and all the other staff and they would bend over backwards to

My mother has been at Hampton Court for over a year now and it's the most settled she has been in a few years. All the staff are so caring and treat all the residents like family. They also made sure my mum was safe throughout the pandemic. I want to say a big thank you to all the staff and management.

I went to see my nan at Hampton Court and loved how friendly the home was. My nan looked well looked after and seemed to engage really well with the staff there. Nothing is too much trouble and the home welcomes us when we visit. I cannot recommend Hampton Court enough. Thank you to all the staff

My nan went in to Hampton Court for respite. The staff were amazing. They made my nan look like one million dollars and gave her the time and attention she would not let us give her. We very quickly realised that my nan could not come home and we can think of no better place for her to be. There is
an activity lady on everyday and this is great. Really we can not thank you enough for looking after my nan.

Since the manager took over and put her stamp on this home it has really improved so much. My mum is looking a lot smarter, happier and content, there is more going on for the residents and all the staff go above and beyond even more than before. Keep up the excellent work and thank you!

Mum has been at Hampton Court for a year, and she is extremely happy and content. As a family, it's all we wish for.
I find the staff very courteous, helpful and caring to visitor,s and residents.

I had visited my friend who lives in the care home for more than 5 years now. From what I have seen over the years my friend is well looked after from the staff and there is activities on a daily basis, evident in the conservatory area with art work etc. One resident was having her nails and hair done
while I was there.
The staff are very professional and seem to know all the resident's needs.
The home is not so clinical like you see in modern care home facilities, but like a home from home feel.
I had been invited to join for dinner, which I thought was a lovely thought and the food tasted like home cooked meals with choices.

My mum is safe and reasonably well cared for at Hampton Court. Many of the staff are caring and kind, however, staff turnover can be quite high.
The home although generally quite clean is shabby and uninspiring, bedrooms have not been decorated in at least 6 years (well mum's anyway)
Activities are
limited and basic, my mum would not participate anyway, but other more able residents would benefit from better.
The manager is not very visible and is keen on pointless notices (A4 photocopies) around the home.

My mother, who has dementia, has struggled to accept full-time living in a care home, feeling her independence has been stripped from her. All the staff are very good and each individual has made the effort with my mother, by supporting her and taking time out with her, spending valuable time with her

Stefanie Grant

Job Title: General Manager

Joined: 2015

Stefanie, our Southport manager, joined the Bloomcare family in October 2019 as the manager of Hampton Court, bringing a wealth of experience. She has worked her way up from being a specialist dementia care assistant to managing one of our specialist dementia care homes, accumulating ten years of management experience. Stefanie obtained her NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management and has a background in mental health and learning disabilities. She is excited to bring her expertise to the person-centred approach to dementia care that Bloomcare is known for.


Stefanie is known for her warm and friendly approach to care and believes in leading by example, just like all our management staff. At Hampton Court, she has built a team that focuses on Bloomcare's core values, which include love, courage, fun, servant hearts, and integrity. By embracing these ideals, Stefanie empowers her residents to live with their dementia and enjoy the best possible quality of life. Together with her dedicated team, she constantly strives to deliver high-quality care that is patient-centred and regularly reviewed. The holistic approach is key to everything they do and involves close collaboration with colleagues and partners.
