We are so grateful for the care that our Mum has had from the fabulous staff at Nazareth House - Crosby. Everyone has been so welcoming, kind and reassuring, helping us to feel our mum has settled in well and is happy and safe. The staff are so knowledgeable about the residents and have so much compassion
for their needs and also the needs of their families. Nothing is ever too much trouble and staff are always approachable and happy to help which gives the home a lovely family feeling. We are so grateful for the care given to our lovely mum.

My mum was in Nazareth House for about 10 weeks. She was treated with dignity and respect. She gained weight and was always clean, hair done, relaxed and happy. We couldn't fault the staff, every one of them was kind, caring and compassionate to my mum. They involved us and welcomed us to the home.
We will always be grateful to them for making her last days so good.


They made her days fun. We were so relieved as we were very worried about her going into care. We are happy she died with people who cared.

My parents lived in Nazareth House, Crosby, from July 2012 until my mum passed away in April this year. Nazareth House was the perfect home for my parents as they both had dementia but they were cared for with love and dignity. The care staff always kept us updated with any changes or adaptations to
their care plan. My parents' spiritual needs were also met with the daily Masses at the chapel. I will always have wonderful, positive memories of the caring staff and my experiences visiting them.

This review comes mainly in the form of a great big thank you! Our mum and dad were residents here for eight and six years respectively, and we always felt we had left them in very good hands. Care went beyond the expected and communication with us was always excellent. Staff knew our parents' ways
and, as Mum became more poorly, it was clear that she still recognised certain members of staff's voices and would always respond with a smile, knowing they were near. Eight years is a long time to sum up in one short review, but we are full of praise for the care received.

Both mum and dad had been residents at Nazareth House for many years, following diagnoses of dementia. The staff have always been wonderful, friendly, caring and treated my parent with dignity. Management has always been very supportive and willing to discuss and address any concerns. End of life care
is very compassionate. Provision for their health and care, spiritual and social needs were always met. Visits to the home have been a large part of my life for many years, and I will miss them very much.

Both our mum and dad were cared for in Nazareth House Crosby in their final years and the care and compassion they both received was outstanding. The whole team go above and beyond and helped both of them and us as a family through some very difficult and sad times. Nazareth House quickly became our
mum and dad's home, where they felt safe and cared for. We will be forever grateful.

My family and I want to thank the manager and all the staff at Nazareth House Crosby for their continued excellent care of our mother. They have done so well ensuring that there have been no instances of Covid-19 so far in the home. They have continued to care for mum in a cheerful and helpful manner,
communication with the family has been very good, we really appreciate all they are doing.

Mum went on respite in Nazareth House after breaking her hip. Mum loved her time there all the staff are excellent. Mum went from 5st 11lb to 7st really pleased.
Nothing any trouble so helpful, the only thing was mum has to pay for care, so it was quite expensive for mum to live there, so I've looked
elsewhere. I would highly recommend Nazareth House.

My Dad was at Nazareth House for approximately 6 weeks (supposed to be permanently) but his Alzheimer’s meant the home felt he was not the ‘right fit’. After his second fall, the home would not take him back from hospital so we had to search for another home. We have a substantial list of missing items
which was reported to the home but not one item has materialised. I feel that this home is only for very mild cases of dementia or for those who are compliant. I personally would not recommend it.

I had a heart operation and my husband has memory loss so he stayed for a week while I was in hospital and I joined him for convalescence. It was a very good stay. The staff were very patient with all the residents. The food was plentiful and good nourishment. We had a lovely suite. I would go back
if necessary.

My grandpa who had dementia, spent his last few months in Nazareth House and recently celebrated his 96th birthday there. It was a difficult decision placing him in a care home but he loved it there from day one and it truly did become his home. The staff in there all loved him and treated him with
such care and dignity. He could not have had a happier last few months. I will always be eternally gratefully for how much they cared for him.

I was so upset to have my mum admitted here in very difficult circumstances but it's the best possible place she could be and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff, who genuinely care for the people they are looking after. Dementia is awful, but I wouldn't want her anywhere else - yes, some places
have newer rooms with fantastic facilities, but my mum doesn't need such things; just the compassion and care of the staff, which also gives me peace of mind. No complaints or concerns.

The family needed respite care for Mum and Nazareth House was recommended to us. From start to finish, the treatment Mum received was wonderful. The surroundings were pleasant and clean and it was a pleasure to visit. Most of all, the staff were extremely caring and helpful. Even Mum said she wouldn't
mind going back if the need arose. We would not hesitate to recommend Nazareth House. Thank you for looking after Mum so well.

My mum, who is 96, now requires care 24/7. This is a stressful time for her and me as the only child. The Nazareth House manager and all staff who work on the ground floor who look after Mum have been caring ad helpful. My Mum says she feels safe and is getting the best care. Nothing is too much trouble
for them.

My uncle has been a resident for two years and he is extremely happy, safe and very well cared for at all times. The staff who care for him give one hundred percent of their time and attention when taking responsibility for my uncle's health, well-being and personal care. He has a lovely large room
with facilities that are excellent for ensuring his safety and comfort in his room. The standard of the food is excellent and it is served promptly and attractively. The residents' lounge and dining room are spacious and pleasant areas for residents to be in. The activities co-ordinator is good and she organises and visitors which engage residents. More activities tailored to residents with limited physical and mental capacity are starting to occur. He is always treated with dignity and respect by the staff and management at all times.

My grandad was admitted to Nazareth House initially for respite care. The staff treated grandad like an old friend, whilst making the environment homely, and welcoming for him, my nan, and the whole family.


Grandad was a resident at Nazareth House, whilst my nan visited daily, for several hours.

Both suffered with dementia. The staff met both of their different needs, communicating with the extended family when necessary.


Whilst in Nazareth House, grandad was sadly diagnosed with a terminal illness, and passed away within 4 weeks. The compassion and dignity he received during his final weeks was outstanding. The loss of any loved one is a difficult and emotional time, but the staff at Nazareth House went above and beyond what was required, and made the situation as seamless as it can be for the whole family.


Nazareth House is clearly a care environment where dignity, compassion and respect is embedded in their staff. We will be forever grateful for everything you have done for our families. From the bottom of our heart, thank you.
