My mother, at 98 years old, realised she needed residential care along with her family. We chose Acacia Court where she was always been treated with dignity, love and respect. She is now 103 years old- she is completely immobile and has dementia but she remains there and continues to be treated with
love and respect. All the residents now have dementia in one form or another. The staff on the floor remain patient and kind.

My name is Lynsey Rafferty and I am delighted to introduce myself as the General Manager for Acacia Court. With over 15 years of experience in the care sector, I bring a wealth of knowledge in both resident support and management.


I am fully qualified in all aspects of health and social care, including safeguarding and quality monitoring. My background has allowed me to build strong, transparent relationships with local authorities, the CQC and the families and friends who are integral to our residents' well-being. Together, I believe we can create a nurturing and joyful environment for your loved ones. My goal is to provide excellent care, structure and continuity, fostering a home where laughter and friendships thrive.


At Acacia Court, we are dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming home for all our residents. We strive to bring love, care, kindness, and laughter into the lives of every person in our community. Our mission is to foster a supportive environment where everyone feels valued, respected and happy.
