Woodlands Manor EMI Care Home

What a beautiful home. Staff go above and beyond, the home manager is very person-centred ensuring high standards of care are provided. My friend is always engaging in activities with the other residents. I was not sure about visiting my friend at the home as you hear lots of negative stories but visiting my friend and seeing how happy and content she is makes me so happy.

I am very pleased with the care my mum receives at Woodlands.

The staff and management are so kind and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. My mum thinks a lot of them and says nice things about the staff and management. It is hard when a person you love has to be taken into residential care, but I always feel when I leave mum that she is in good hands.

My wife has been a resident of Woodlands Manor EMI Care Home for several years now. Her dementia care has been first-class throughout this time, together with her clinical treatment. I am very satisfied with the way she has been cared for and in the way that her treatment is constantly reviewed to take account of her changing needs.

My mother transferred into Woodlands Manor EMI Care Home following a stay in another residential home which had proved to be unsatisfactory in terms of the level of care provided. She found that Woodlands Manor EMI was much more suitable for her needs, the level of care and attention that she received from management and staff was markedly different. As a dementia, sufferer her condition was effectively stabilised through considered intervention. Instead of wanting to hide in her room, she actively sought the company of other residents. In the previous home, she had lost interest in food and her weight had dropped but in Woodlands Manor her appetite improved and she regains much of the weight that she had lost.

My mother-in-law came in for temporary respite care; unfortunately, her health deteriorated, and she was admitted to the hospital. She has returned to Woodlands for palliative care. The staff are lovely and are doing everything possible to make her comfortable.

My mum was introduced to Woodlands Manor with a view to respite care as her dementia deteriorated, but while she was there, she, unfortunately, contracted delirium and chert infection, and this made her condition worsen. She was hospitalised but came back to Woodlands Manor for end-of-life care. The staff are bending over backwards for the patients and can't do enough for them. As for Mum, the care she is getting is exceptional. The manager of the home is one of the best and is informative and always has time for you.

I just want to thank the manager and the team for the way they looked after my dad during his final days. He passed away with great dignity and with so much loving care and that meant a lot to me, my mum and my brother. I'll be forever grateful for that. Thank you.

Any decline with my cousin is addressed and actions are put into place. Staff are very professional and welcoming, she is always made a fuss of.

I find visiting the home a pleasant experience. The home is always bright and cheerful. It also has a homely feel. The staff always try their best to be helpful. It always has a relaxing atmosphere. The residents appear to be comfortable.

I am impressed with everything at Woodlands Manor. The staff go above and beyond in their roles. They not only treat my aunt and uncle with care and respect they also treat us the same. They looked after my uncle very well until he passed and continue supporting my aunt.

Could not be happier with this care home. Never before have I felt more secure leaving my family in the care of others, than I do in Woodlands. The staff are second to none, the care is excellent and the residents always seem so happy. In my opinion, this is not a care facility, it is indeed a home.

Have been very happy with the way my friend has settled in. She is content and happy. The staff are kind and helpful, could not ask for more.

My mum has been here for four years now, in that time she has been looked after in a very caring and professional manner. Staff in the Covid period have provided excellent care in difficult circumstances.

The care provided by all the staff at Woodlands Manor EMI Care Home is second to none. Each resident is treated with dignity and respect at all times. Every aspect of their individual care needs are met. Staff go above and beyond to provide every resident with the best quality of care possible. Every visitor is treated with the same level of courtesy. All in all, Woodlands Manor is a superb care home and all the staff are incredible.

My mother was well looked after by the team from Woodlands Manor Care. If there were any changes in her condition I was informed by the manager and we had a good discussion about what they have done and for a further management plan. I am impressed with their management, especially during Covid times.

As my mother has only been in the home for five days, it is a little hard to write a review so soon. The first impression was very good and the staff were all attentive and friendly. I hope she will be happy here and settle in very soon. The standards around covid were very good and the rooms all seemed very clean.

My sister has been well looked after since moving in and the staff very helpful having to organise clinics and transport because of recent medical problems. I have been kept informed properly.

Thank you to all the staff at Woodlands Manor for your kindness and for the care you have given to Dad. It's been a difficult couple of months, but you have always been there for us, encouraging, being strong and supportive. I have never once questioned that Dad is in the right place and will always remember how well you cared for him (and me).

I am very happy with the care provided to my mother at Woodlands Manor. The managers and staff have faced some extremely difficult times, these past few months. With the current situation, their professionalism was to a very high standard. Woodlands Manor is an exceptional home.
