The Allandale Care Group Ltd is a not for profit organization that has provided care provision within the Heswall area for over 50 years and are well known and respected in the area.

Heathermount comprises of 16 rooms spread over 3 floors, rooms are spacious, bright and tastefully decorated, each room is individually styled with en-suite facilities in each room.

All rooms have Ariel point, telephone socket and nurse call bell.

Heathermount has a tastefully decorated, dining area and comfortable lounge with direct access to an enclosed patio area.

Meals are nutritious varied and are freshly prepared by the cook special dietary requirements are catered for.

There is a varied activity programme at Heathermount, with something for everyone, from poetry groups, quiz nights and exercise and baking.

Heathermount is actively supported by the friends of Heathermount with resident representatives, who run coffee mornings and various other activities raising money for the resident’s fund.

The home has two assisted bathrooms and walk-in shower room.
The Allandale Care Group prides itself on providing the highest levels of care and support.

Staff are warm, friendly, experienced, highly trained people who are passionate about their roles.

Easy to access home by simply turning up. Staff very helpful in showing me around. Everywhere seems very clean and tidy and the staff very welcoming and flexible to dad's needs.
Dad settled in very quickly thanks to the attitude of the staff.

As a regular caller at Heathermount to visit friends, and also to attend Coffee Mornings and social events, I have always found the staff most helpful and kind, especially with the residents. They take care to listen to their requests and help where possible. The house is clean and tidy and homely.
All in all, as the residents have their own furniture in their rooms there is a feeling of individuality in each one.

My father has been a resident at Heathermount for 5 years and I, and the rest of my family have been completely satisfied and impressed with the first-class care and attention he has received there. This year he will be 102 years old and the fact that he has continued to thrive to such a ripe old age
is in no small part to the staff, facilities and TLC he has had since joining the home. Of course, he did have reservations at first about going 'into a home', as many do, but Heathermount was so welcoming that he settled in very quickly indeed. The main point about Heathermount is that it is large enough to be totally professional, yet small enough to give a totally personalised service to its residents. Incidentally, in the 5 years my Dad has been there, I have always seen the other residents happy and healthy and I've never witnessed the slightest inkling of a complaint from any of the other residents or their families. Totally recommended.

My Father has been at Heathermount since November 2017 and has been welcomed into their happy home. The Staff are friendly and very professional in all their dealings with my father and he is settled and very happy there. Nothing is a problem that can’t be solved and his care, health and happiness is
their utmost concern. He is treated with dignity and affection and as a family we are all impressed with Heathermount.

Having sold his portfolio in 2021, Chandler Warren enlisted his services to Allandale Care Group and dedicated his time and passion to this outstanding Charity Group. As the Chief Executive Officer of the care homes group, Chandler has surrounded himself with the most qualified and dedicated team of care home professionals available.


Chandler is a very passionate, compassionate and hands-on CEO who thrives in the care of the elderly and has a real dedication to achieving excellent standards of care.

Joanne Evans

Job Title: General Manager

I had spent 20 years working in retail before changing career in 2013 and moving into the Health and Social care sector as a domiciliary carer. I progressed to manager of the company and within 2 years gained a Good in all areas with CQC. I completed my level 5 diploma in 2015


Moving to residential care in 2017 I became registered Manager at Heathermount where I stayed for 4 years.


During this time, the home was visited by CQC and gained a GOOD in all areas of inspection.


In 2021 I was promoted to General Manager of Allandale Care Group, and I am also the Nominated Individual with CQC.. My main duties are to oversee all regulated activities and ensure our services are well run.


In my free time, I like to listen to music, of all kinds, and I am a huge football fan, especially Liverpool FC. I have 3 Grandchildren who spend a lot of time at ‘nanny’s’ house.


I am very passionate about my job and want both homes to be the best they possibly can be so that our residents are happy, comfortable and safe. It is also important to me that our families and friends feel secure knowing that their loved ones are well cared for.

Katie Baker

Job Title: Registered Manager

I have 10 years of experience in the care industry. I started my career as a mental health support worker whilst I was studying a level 3 childcare and education qualification.


Whilst working as a mental health support worker I discovered my passion for providing care and support to vulnerable individuals and that I wished to progress within the health and social care sector. In the following years, I worked across several services providing care to vulnerable adults of all ages. In 2018 I was employed as a senior healthcare assistant within an elderly residential home, and I knew straight away that this is where my heart lies, I felt like I was home. In 2019 I started working towards a bachelor’s degree in health and social care whilst working full time. I initially started the degree as I have always been an avid learner and wished to enhance my knowledge in all areas of the health and social care sector. I started my career as a registered manager in early 2021, I joined Allandale Care Group as a registered manager in June 2023. During my brief time at Allandale Care Group, I have supported my team to achieve an ‘excellent’ rating when inspected by PAMMS, my team and I are enormously proud of this achievement.
I look forward to my future within Allandale Care Group.

I have always worked in the financial background for at least 30 years. Working in different sectors of the industry I have gained numerous years of valuable experience in all fields.


I have worked on trading desks in the raw commodities industry looking after high-volume invoicing and credit control, reporting to the Directors, and dealing with our European customers. I enjoyed a period within the Sea safety industry looking after the accounts for all our offices located up and down the country and dealing with all the stock involved. I have also worked within the construction sector, which was extremely demanding and busy, looking after payroll for our subsidiary companies and dealing with CIS, and a high level of invoicing and accountancy reporting.


I have studied at college to gain my AAT Certification.


After taking a break to look after my family and raise my children, I decided I wanted to go back to work. I was approached by Allandale Care Group for an interview, I was extremely impressed with the overall engagement with the staff and employees. No stone is left unturned, the respect and work ethos are very apparent from all. I am a compassionate person with a caring nature and did not hesitate to accept the job offer from the CEO Of Allandale Care Group and look forward to many years ahead.


In my free time, I engage in lots of activities with my family. I come from a big family and my house is always full of friends and family.

Kate Conroy

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Joined: 2020

I chose to become a care assistant because working with elderly people has always been a passion of mine, and it deepened ever since I cared for my mum during the final months of her life, whilst it was difficult at the time I understood it wasn’t about how I felt, it was about how my mum felt. I aimed to ensure that she was comfortable, not in pain, comforted and overall someone who was there for her. This is why I feel that working alongside people who struggle for various reasons whether it be age or illness and helping them feel independent again is something I hold close to my heart.


Being a care assistant who can provide physical and emotional support to those in need, being a good listener, a good team member, and being a listening ear to not only the residents but their families as well if they need to talk, and being the reassurance, they need when they are scared. Being able to share their happy memories with them and creating more happy experiences for them when they may believe it is no longer possible is what I aim to achieve. That within itself is one of the main reasons why I am passionate about this type of work, being able to give back to people who have helped people throughout their lives is a small token of appreciation to me.


I joined Allandale Care Group in 2019 as a night care assistant, and since then I have developed my skills and knowledge with support from everyone from care staff to management. I have been given the opportunity to take on the role of Care team Leader which I am immensely proud of. I can only thank the Management for this as the support they have given me and continue to have only helped me grow within my role.
