The Manor Care Home have been amazing. Mum was placed there in an emergency during the pandemic and we were really worried. We shouldn't have been, the staff are exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. The care home provided truly person-centred care. They pulled out all the stops for my parents'
60th anniversary and arranged a secure visiting area for my dad to visit. Overall the staff and management provide first-class care, lots of activities and they always make time to accommodate our requests. Just brilliant. I would recommend The Manor Care Home in a heartbeat. Thank you for looking after my mum with dignity and respect.

My mother-in-law was admitted to The Manor as she needed discharge from hospital but couldn't safely go home. This has happened during the Coronavirus pandemic so we were not able to see the Home prior to admission or visit whilst she was there. Staff were working under very difficult conditions but
were friendly, professional and caring at every contact we have had. It has been a very difficult situation but even though we could see her I have felt that she has been well cared for.

My father lived at The Manor for 2 years. My sister and I looked at a lot of homes before calling into The Manor. We knew as soon as we walked around that it was the right place for him. A homely, comfortable place. Set in beautiful grounds, the old house has lots of character. The staff are wonderful,
they are caring and loving. They are always patient and considerate. I was able to relax when he moved in as I knew he was safe and cared for. Any issues with his health were dealt with quickly, I was kept informed of treatments. I know a lot of positive changes have been made recently. I would highly recommend them.

There is a calm and supportive atmosphere for my mother who suffers from dementia. Caring staff from management to juniors. She has a clean well decorated room with safety features. There are regular visits from the doctor/nurse to my mother who has cellulitis.
The home is large and spacious which
is good for communal activities and also has smaller cosy lounges.
The large grounds create a peaceful setting and can be enjoyed in the summer by the residents. Has a good programme of activities. I feel that my mother is being well cared for and I trust the staff.

As a new resident, under a month, my mother has been treated with care and respect. Her physical needs have been met and has had many medical treatments. It would be good to have more intellectual stimulation as she is often asleep.

Although Mum was only at The Manor for the last 9 weeks of her life, I felt the care she received was excellent. The staff and management were kind, caring and very patient with all the residents. They looked after mum in the way I wanted they keep me up to date on all aspects of mum's care even ringing
me at home to keep me up to date when mum wasn't too well. We visited mum most days and were made very welcome and always offered a drink and biscuits with mum. Mum was always clean and tidy as were her clothes and room. The food was good even though mum had lost her appetite due to the Alzheimer's so the staff would sit with her and encourage her to eat and drink.
The house its self is a beautiful Georgian Manor with a lovely garden and grounds for the residents to enjoy. My mum enjoyed sitting in the window watching the birds.

I would highly recommend The Manor and would like to thank all the staff for the care they gave my mum.

My mum has been at The Manor for nearly two years in all, first for respite care and then as a long term resident. She likes her room, which is comfortable, clean and quiet with a leafy view. The grounds of The Manor are especially beautiful and spacious, and the gardens are very well-used by all the
residents as a social space to be together and to potter about. My mum has dementia but that has not stopped her from forming some great friendships with fellow residents. The management and staff are all very hard-working, patient and capable. However busy they get, they are always friendly and responsive. Meals are good and well-organised. My mum has heart arrhythmia and her condition is well-managed. The home is within walking distance to my house, and even though mum gets out and about with me, family and friends very often, the staff are also very good at making sure they take her out for a walk nearly every day. I am very grateful to know she's safe overnight and while I am at work.

My mother has been at the Manor for seven years and now has severe dementia. The care she has received has been excellent and the owner, current manager in particular, and staff constantly strive to ensure that her care and comfort is suited to her changing needs. I regularly visit my mother 3 to 4
times per week and any requests or suggestions I make for her comfort and well being are always dealt with in a friendly, professional and helpful manner. The management constantly try to improve the grounds and premises ensuring the home is very clean, homely and welcoming. Families can visit at any time and I have been able to observe at first hand and at any time of the day and night the caring and friendly way the care staff deal with the residents, nothing is too much trouble and they are obviously well trained by the management. I feel reassured that my mother is receiving the best possible care in a home that is constantly improving and where the welfare of the residents is paramount.

The Manor is impressive from outside, a Georgian manor house in mature grounds. Inside is equally impressive and the new extension is bright and welcoming but still in tune with the older structure. Most impressive of all however, are the staff. You always receive a warm welcome and the care, patience,
warmth and understanding shown to the residents, are always much in evidence.
