Richmond Villages Nantwich is proud to offer the very best in residential, respite, palliative and end of life care within an award-winning retirement village that also offers independent and assisted living apartments set in four and a half acres of landscaped gardens.

Residential care is provided at a weekly fee, dependent on each person's support requirements. Long stay, respite, convalescence and day care are all offered within the care home.

Richmond Villages Nantwich also offers a wide range of on-site facilities including a dedicated Care Home Restaurant (The Alpine Suite), The Garden Room Village Restaurant, elegant sitting rooms, a hairdressing salon and beautician, landscaped gardens and a Bowling Green. Care Home residents can invite guests to join them for lunch by reserving a table in the Garden Room Restaurant where private parties can also be catered for.

The 41-bed residential Care Home's rooms are all en-suite with electric profiling bed, TV, telephone and Wi-Fi access. Some rooms enjoy patios or balconies overlooking the gardens.

Residents are supported to live a healthy and happy life in the very best environment with a dedicated and highly skilled care team. There is a full-time activities team, a large hospitality team, maintenance team, gardeners and full-time drivers who can take you to local health appointments or to the local towns and shops on scheduled trips.

My father is now in his sixth week following hospital discharge directly to Richmond his care has been exemplary during periods of exacerbated illness. During times when he has felt well, the staff have been very encouraging to include him in socialising and attending activities whilst my father would
love to be in his own home Richmond has provided the next best thing.

Lovely decor throughout including painting on the wall and bright airy rooms. I was impressed with the dining areas and the wide range of activities taking place. A beautiful television room and everything was so clean. All the staff were very friendly.

This was my first visit and I was very impressed with everything. The home is beautifully decorated, very homely and spotlessly clean. As a visitor, I felt very welcome and the staff were helpful and friendly. My relatives room was lovely and she was obviously happy with the facilities and activities.

The Richmond Village experience in Nantwich is like a cruise ship, (eg QE II) without the water around it. I cannot fault the staff or the residence, everyone is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone.

We visited to take my Mother-in-law home for Christmas and Boxing day. All the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient preparing medication etc. The care home is beautiful and luxurious - When can I move in?
The weird wooden drummer sculpture in the garden is very creepy - gives me nightmares.

I have visited Richmond Village over the last six years as my sister had friends residing in the village. I was always impressed with the friendliness of the staff at every level and the beautiful decor and furnishings, also colourful immaculate gardens. I am so pleased that my sister is now a resident.
She is very happy and I know she is safe and all be well looked after.

We needed as a family, palliative care for my mother and we looked at Richmond Nantwich on the internet. We rang up, made an appointment to see inside and the room that was available. My mother was assured and accepted. From September to mid-November, my mother had 100% care here. The staff are wonderful
and so caring without making my mother feel that she was deteriorating. It gave my father and I peace of mind that mother was being looked after. From the senior care lead down to the breakfast staff, to the cooks and cleaners, it is an exceptional and very special place.

This care home is extremely clean, welcoming and friendly. The staff are very warm and treat the residents with absolute respect. The rooms of the residents are all very individual, as each resident is able to fully make it their own. There is a strong staff presence in the building so always someone

Richmond Village Nantwich is a fantastic care home. It's main feature is that it is situated in the centre of Richmond Village (retirement village). My father is 89 years old and is able to share the excellent range of activities available with people much younger than himself. This range of activities
is definitely a plus factor of living in the care home. I have been very happy with the quality of care in all aspects which my dad has received over the past 4 years.

Since Mum moved to Richmond Village in Nantwich she has been happier than I remember, as she has become poorly, the staff have gone over and above the call of duty to make sure she is well looked after, we are kept informed and Mum feels very cared for and part of the Richmond family.
Because of Mums
failing health, her needs have changed and the staff and management have been very sympathetic and caring to ensure changes have been made, we have been consulted at all times and advised when she needs changes, or when she is well. Never once have we been concerned and indeed we feel everyone in this home is looked after as though they were related to the staff member because they are so very very good
I cannot say how fabulous everyone one is at this home, Mum is so happy, comfortable and enjoying life even when her illnesses try and stop her, the staff make sure they don't. It is such a comfort that she is safe at this home and happy. Thank you, everyone, at Richmond Village Nantwich.

I came to visit my Grandad who is a resident, we always receive a very warm welcome from the receptionist and the other staff within the building.
Nothing is ever too much trouble and although the staff are busy they always take the time to listen. The staff in the dining room are fantastic and always
willing to accommodate my son's preferences where they can!

From the moment my mother moved into Richmond Village, she was treated with dignity and respect. The home is run very efficiently and has a number of activities going on throughout the day.
The staff have made my mother welcome and her every need is attended to by an expert team. The atmosphere at
the home is more of a hotel, upbeat vibe, immaculate grounds and facilities. I feel safe in the knowledgeable that my mother could not receive better care.

My recently bereaved mother moved for respite care and quickly settled in due to the kindness and dedication of all the staff. She had been very lonely, sad and unmotivated at home. However, she had joined in the activities, made new friends and came alive again. We are so pleased to see this transformation.

Friendly, helpful and kind staff. Very clean environment. Lots of choice at meal times. Nothing too much trouble. Felt safe in this environment and would return if need be. Just felt the addition of a communal lounge other than the dining area would be most welcome. There was only the reception area

Richmond Nantwich has both the appearance and feel more of a hotel than a retirement home. From arriving in reception through all departments the staff are fantastic. Courteous and friendly throughout. No nasty smells here. Everything is clean and tidy. Close care levels are of the highest order. I
cannot believe this place can be bettered. Expensive? - Yes, but value for money? - Sure thing.

Very pleasant experience. I found the residents and the staff very helpful and friendly. My flatlet was comfortable and roomy. I had a very enjoyable break and hope to come again in the future. I would be pleased and happy to live here- but must consider the finance as the village apartments are expensive
and also I am not mobile so would miss friends etc as they are like myself elderly and not too mobile! I am 90 myself. Try to build a unit closer to me, please!

Lynne Griffin

Job Title: Village Manager

Joined: 1996

Lynne has been working at Richmond Village Nantwich since 1996. Her role as Village Manager means she is responsible for all aspects of day-to-day life in the village. She spends time dealing with issues raised by residents, potential residents and staff. Lynne also provides support to all the Heads of Department in their roles and helps out as and when needed. She is also responsible for maintaining a set budget, future planning for the village, management reporting, etc. Lynne also spends time networking and promoting the village.


‘The best part of the day is when I am spending time with our residents. They have had amazing lives and I am proud that we are able to help them to continue to enjoy life to the full,’ says Lynne.

Allyson Attward

Job Title: Head of Care/Registered Manager

Joined: 2022

Allyson is the Head of Care / Registered Manager for the residential care home within the Richmond Village Nantwich and has to adhere to the care standards requirements of the care home thus maintaining the care rating given to us by CQC after our inspection report.


She organises all admissions and discharges from the care home and ensures that the care delivered to the clients is always of the highest standards, delivered safely and with dignity.


Allyson promotes an "open door" policy for all who live, work and visit the care home, and is always willing to listen to feedback.
