Final fees are subject to assessment of the potential resident, the size of the room offered and the facilities needed / available.
Additional services such as hairdressing, chiropody, newspapers and excursions are not included in the standard weekly fees.
Contact with relatives and friends is fundamental to their resident’s health and well-being and visits are encouraged.
There are no restrictions or booking requirements to visit Bentley Manor Care Home; however different rules apply should there be a Covid-19 outbreak, and they ask to not visit during ‘protected mealtimes’ unless is a part of the essential caregiver role.
Bentley Manor Care Home has a small amount of car parking, including disabled parking bays, for people visiting the Home. There is no charge to use the cark park.

When told we would have to sell her house to keep her there, she was upset about the cost but realises she couldn't possibly go home and be on her own. She enjoys the company and general hustle and bustle going on around her.

Many of our residents enjoy having the company of others which they would not get if they were at home on their own and this along with the close personal care people require and receive tips the balance over and above electing to stay at home. The realities of the costs associated with living in a care home, within the current financial rules and regulations regarding Adult Social Care, have to be faced but keeping people safe, secure and well cared for has to take priority, as difficult as it sometimes is and we perfectly understand that. We accepted a place as we were desperate to get him out of the hospital. He has now moved in, and I have to say I am so glad he was accepted there. The management has been very accommodating and understanding and the staff are all excellent. I am confident he is receiving the greatest of care, and they have given him the dignity and respect he deserves. I have visited several times now and he seems very happy and settled.

I can appreciate how first impressions count so much, the time during which you visited was not a good one for the presentation of the home as we were completing what was a major move of services and room - there were times when the home did not look pretty, so we very much apologise for that.
