Recent months have seen a very welcomed change at the home. More professionalism from the management team. Cleanliness has also improved greatly. I now feel more confident in the care my family member is receiving.

Job Title: Registered Home Manager

Joined: 2023

I have worked in care of the elderly since I was 14 years old.
Following on from all NVQ's in care I decided to undertake my Nursing degree in 2004-2007.
I qualified with a first-class honour's degree, I then worked in an acute hospital setting in Endoscopy and theatres for 10 years before returning to my first love of care of the elderly in 2017. Since that date I have worked as a senior nurse, unit manager, deputy manager and now manager at Sandiway Lodge.
I am passionate and motivated to engage with our residents to provide dignified person-centred care and help to improve their lives in whatever way we can.
