Haslingden Hall is a purpose-built care home specialising in care for older people and provides 24-hour residential care, as well as complex dementia care, incorporating an active dementia strategy.

The home has been designed with the comfort, privacy and independent lifestyle choices of residents in mind. Each of the en-suite bedrooms are equipped with the latest facilities and amenities, with internet access and modern furniture and décor.

Pleasantly surprised on arrival. Welcoming and impressed. Clean and airy building. bedrooms are spacious with own en-suite. Dining room, day room and activity room are all inviting with a garden view. All staff are welcoming and approachable. Homecooked food.

My mother in law has been in Haslingden Hall for four months. She has settled in very well. The staff are friendly and caring and it's a safe and secure environment. I would recommend Haslingden Hall to anyone who is looking for a home for their relative.

I am really happy with the care and attention my mum has received. First and foremost she has been happy with the staff who seem to have taken to her batty personality. Mum smiles and dances and told me that all the staff have looked after her, especially the staff member who made mum laugh. She told
me he was "funny" thank you to all of you .

My mother had been in the home for four years and as a family we can't thank the staff at Haslingden Hall enough. The care they give was incredible unfortunately her life came to an end in April 2022 and again the staff was amazing with her and us. I would recommend Haslingden Hall to anyone.

Haslingden Hall took amazing care of my wonderful, late Grandad for 3 years. He was so special to us and they helped us as a family make sure he was loved, safe and cared for. The staff were great and genuinely showed love and care within their role. Especially in those times where the pandemic hit
hard.

We chose Haslingden Hall for my mother when at the age of 97 she was struggling to manage at home. We were impressed by the home and the en-suite facilities for all rooms. Haslingden Hall came across as one of the best care homes in the area and it has not disappointed. Mum has been a resident for 3.5
years now celebrating her 100th birthday last year. The care and dedication of the staff, even through the difficult Covid epidemic, has been outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble and the care provided as been excellent. We are kept fully informed if my Mum is unwell or has needed medical attention. We are always made welcome and most importantly Mum is happy.

I chose Haslingden Hall for my mother following her stroke as it appeared to be one of the best care homes in the area and it did not disappoint. Mum has been there for 4 years now and the care and dedication of the staff, even through the difficult Covid epidemic, has been outstanding. Nothing is too
much trouble and they give care to the residents as if they are their family. The home is modern, clean and tidy and whilst the recent renovations have been held up due to Covid, they are now nearing completion providing a small cafe area where residents can meet friends and family. The food is good, fresh and nutritious and there are plenty of activities to keep residents stimulated. The garden and conservatory areas also provide additional safe and relaxing environments for residents to enjoy.

Very happy with the care my mum receives at Haslingden Hall. Staff keep me up to date with regular phone calls and emails. Mum seems very happy there and has made a special friend. Staff always very caring towards Mum.

Staff work hard and really care about residents and go above and beyond to help and make my brother happy.
He has particular needs linked to his disability , which they have got to know well and I generally feel his needs are well met.
The methods of communication used have really improved over
the last 12 months and management keep families better informed.

Due to circumstances it was necessary for my husband to go into Haslingden Hall even though his Alzheimer's was relatively manageable had I been well. It was an extremely difficult time, emotionally and mentally. There were initially misunderstandings on our part but management actually came to visit
me and overcame any problems. I felt again management and staff have been approachable, supportive and understanding given our difficulties.

Satisfactory on the whole but the age group was not the same as mine. Apart from that the care provided was very good and the food was good. I was treated with dignity. The rooms have all got a shower room in too.

We have been through a horrendous few months in relation to my Mum's care and this posting is so that other people don't have to go through what we have had to endure. Today, she was "shipped out" to another care home because the manager doesn't like anyone complaining, not because they are unable to
meet her needs. Instead of resolving issues she and her management team give 28 days notice to relocate. We are aware that this has happened with other families. The Manager has advised that she doesn't respond to anything in writing nor does she respond to emails. This is the same management team that let in new residents from the hospital without testing for Covid resulting in many deaths last year, something which relatives found out about via a Facebook post believe it or not. Clearly, there are square pegs in round holes here. A recent complaint to safeguarding has been substantiated for reasons of neglect. A case is being prepared for the Ombudsman to consider.

As Mum has declined and needed more care and support I think she has been well looked after. The carers really do their best to attend to personal hygiene of my mum and her clothing. There have been a few issues with lost items due to laundry and things being moved from her room. This was dealt with
by providing a key being available so that other residents could not just walk in, and move things. The key was fixed to the door frame.
Food is of a good quality and visitors are often invited to take a meal.
The cleaning staff are excellent and also very good with the residents, taking time to speak to any they meet around the rooms.
Obviously the Lodge and Hall are in transition as improvements are being made to the rooms but it seems to be going in the right direction. At times like this, the staff and residents are having to cope with room changes but it will be beneficial in the end.
Staff are welcoming to visitors and in the main, I am satisfied with the home.

I think Haslingden Hall is a good place I think Haslingden Hall is one of the higher standard care homes in the area. The activities are good but my mum is unable to join in all of them. At present, the home is going under renovation which has been a bit upsetting but I feel confident it will get better.
Staff are always approachable.

Overall I’m really pleased with this care home but at the moment there is a bit of upheaval. Once the renovations are complete things will get back to normal. The staff are very approachable and friendly and helpful. The place is always clean and tidy. My mum is unable to take part in most activities
but there is always activities going on around the home. The rooms are lovely spacious and have en-suite shower rooms. We are really happy with the new food by the food company. Loving the new quiet rooms on the dementia units and can’t wait for the dementia café to open when it’s built.

My mum received end of life care here, we could not have asked for better care.
My mum and my family were treated with exceptional dignity and respect, nothing was too much trouble even though the carers were extremely busy and seemed to not stop for their whole shift. They made a sad experience much
easier to cope with by their kind words, help and hospitality. An amazing team.

The care given to my mother was very good. She was in for a few weeks respite and was very happy there. She felt safe and was very well looked after.


The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and loved having her hair done there and her nails.


We wouldn't hesitate to use this facility again.
