We wanted Mum to have a couple of weeks respite, somewhere she would be well cared for and treated with dignity and respect, and we were not disappointed. All the staff and the manager couldn't have done enough for Mum, they really did treat her like family as they did all the residents. It was lovely
to witness, it was a short trial stay for Mum and although she wasn't quite ready to take up permanent residency, I don't think there would be any hesitation by her to go back there in the future. Thanks to you all at the Hilton Rest Home, you should be proud of yourselves.

Mum went in for 2 weeks of respite care whilst we were on holiday. She had nothing but praise for all aspects of the home, particularly the food! When she comes to needing full-time care this will definitely be our first choice.

I was a little apprehensive about being moved to Hilton Rest Home not having any experience of care homes. I needn't have had any worries. The staff were all welcoming and kind and the induction process was quick. I was shown to my room, furnished with a nice cup of tea while the staff sorted out my
clothes and made sure I had everything I needed. It has been a pleasurable experience getting to know the people on the different shifts and them getting to know my likes and dislikes. The standard of care I have received has been second to none and the food excellent. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and the laughs with the staff. I would recommend this care home to anyone who is in need of respite care while the healing process takes place. Well done to all of the staff for providing such excellent care. you should all feel proud of yourselves.

I regularly visit a family friend and every time staff are very welcoming and very polite.
They have also complied with all rules and regulations during Covid (visiting pods).
Always have great communication face to face or over on the phone.
Very lovely home and our family friend is very happy
and has never said a bad word about any staff or the rest home in its self.

I have been a service user of the Hilton Rest Home for a number of years, and on my visits, I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful. It has a nice atmosphere, it is clean and smells lovely.

My father's cousin went to Hilton over three years ago following a stroke and he is now 90 years old. He was able to take his dog Cassie with him which made a great difference to his recovery as he is devoted to her. Unfortunately, he has not been able to see her since the Covid lockdown but the staff
have helped him cope with this and he knows that she is safe and well with the dog walker.
The fact that there have been no Covid cases at Hilton is testament to the dedication and caring of all the staff.
On my visits to Hilton I have seen how patient and caring the staff are. I feel that during the current crisis care home workers have been the unsung heroes.
My thanks go to the management team and all of the staff.

I feel that it would be difficult to find anything that comes up to the standards that I have found, care, cleanliness and kindness. I was unsure of what to expect when I had to move into full-time care, having seen many negative reports about care homes, however, I was made to feel welcome from day
one and everyone was as good as their word, making me feel welcome and helping me to settle in.

I was so worried about my mum going into respite as she has dementia. The manager and staff were so caring and I felt at home never mind mother. After she came home, mum was still able to attend activities run by the home. I have just booked mum in again for this weekend. I can’t thank the staff enough
for looking after my mum.

I have found Hilton to be an excellent care home. My mother has been there since June of last year.
The staff are kind, considerate and extremely approachable. It is kept clean to a very high standard.
The food is always appetising and varied. The manager is very professional and always available
should anything arises that needs to be discussed.

My grandmother lived at the Hilton and the care provided was second to none, it was delivered with the utmost dignity and compassion. All my family was made to feel very welcome even when I brought my little dog which grandma loved. The home is very well managed and all the staff are kind, caring and
very friendly. Grandma was very happy and settled while living at the home and I would like to thank all the staff for their warm hospitality and support.

The care home was a warm friendly place to visit. We went to the home to help with lunches and play a bingo session with the residents as part of our team challenge week where we help a local group. As ever the staff were outstanding with their hard work and treatment of the residents. It was evident
they promoted dignity, respect and choice with the elderly and the residents seemed very contented and well cared for. We couldn't thank them enough for a memorable day where generations met and shared laughter and fun.

The home offers a very friendly and homely atmosphere. The staff gave great support to the residents and nothing is too much trouble. At a very difficult time for myself and my sister and of course mum, the home was there to give us tremendous support and ease the pain. The Hilton is a credit to staff
