We review staffing numbers in relation to the dependencies of our Residents using a recognised industry ratified dependency tool. Dependencies are reviewed monthly and we will continue to monitor staffing levels daily. We are currently implementing a whole new training programme for all staff which focuses on all aspects of kind care, including meaningful interactions with Residents.

We have taken on board your comments about the television and this has been discussed with staff in our daily team meetings. We have also completed staff supervisions to remind all staff of communicating with residents whilst they are offering care assistance - this will be monitored closely by the Home Manager going forward.

Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. We are so pleased your Mother has settled in well at Meadowbank, and that she is thriving. Following the recent takeover of the Home by HC-One, we are changing our cleaning products and reviewing and upgrading our suppliers. Together with the organised training, we are certain positive changes will be noticed. The same has been done for our activities, these are under review and training for staff has been arranged. Please don’t hesitate to bring any concerns you might have to the attention of Management so that they can be immediately rectified.

This clothing was carefully washed and ironed and kept in good condition at all times. The housekeeping staff kept the unit clean and tidy at all times when his condition deteriorated and he subsequently died. He had the wonderful care which could not be faulted, he died peacefully and with dignity in my arms with my husband and nurses supporting us. They were just wonderful.
