Milton Lodge Rest Home is situated in a quiet residential area of Fleetwood. The home is convenient for a short stroll to the local shops, the market or to the sea front.
The Home provides long term, short term and respite care for 21 residents in a warm and friendly atmosphere, where they are treated with dignity, respect and compassion at all times.

The team use a digital care planning tool to create person centred care plans for each resident. The care plans are tailored to their individual needs and interests and take into account their social and cultural preferences.

Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms and can have a say in the décor to ensure that they feel at home. The home has two spacious lounges where residents can socialise and watch television. Residents can enjoy the fresh air and good weather in the home’s private rear garden which is furnished with garden tables and chairs. The residents and their visitors enjoy sitting there in the summer months.

A sunny decking area, which can be accessed directly from the dining room or the garden, has been added to the home. This is a popular place for the residents and their visitors to sit on warm days.

The home has a separate visiting pod in the back garden. It can be used to visit your loved ones, if required.

Great emphasis is placed on the personal independence, dignity and quality of life of each resident. Social activities are organised for residents and they are at liberty to choose to participate in these or not.

Residents can enjoy an active social life thanks to the busy activities programme. This includes crafts, quizzes, discussion groups, trips out and entertainment.

A choice of menu is available at each meal. Special diets can be catered for. Each meal is freshly prepared using only the finest ingredients.

I have always found Milton Lodge Rest Home so welcoming and homely. I visit my grandmother a couple of times a week and it's comforting to see how nice the staff are and how they have taken time to get to know my nan. My grandmother has settled well and is very fond of the staff.
It's lovely that
they can enjoy the gardens and my grandmother always enjoys the singer that comes in to see the ladies. I have always felt welcomed, along with my little girls who visit with me. Any worries my family have had, whether it be a call to the doctors, the staff have been nothing but helpful. A lovely place.

I am very happy with the care my mum is receiving at the care home. Staff are wonderful caring and very helpful.


The only negative I have is that mum is deteriorating and unfortunately is in a room on the top floor 'en-suite' but no view and she spends all day in her room. Its a shame she can't see

out, but apart from that, I am very happy with everything else.

I have only a short time of experience visiting a relative in Milton Lodge. I find the staff extremely caring, kind and helpful. Food provided to the residents is varied and well cooked. The staff are very kind to visitors to the to the home providing cups of tea/sherry. There is a variety of activities
eg., bingo, dominoes, singers visiting, residents birthdays are celebrated with songs etc. Bunting is already in place inside and outside to celebrate the Royal Wedding.

A lovely, caring home. Small and very homely. I don't have any concerns at all about Mum being here as she is safe and well looked after as she is unable to live alone any longer. She is into her 2nd year here now.

I think Milton Lodge Rest Home is a place where client needs are put first. The staff are caring, friendly, professional and truly home from home.

Mum has been in Milton Lodge for 3yrs and it was the best decision we made concerning her care.Mum's Alzheimer's has slowly but consistently worsened, but her care has been excellent.She is always treated with understanding and great care is taken to protect her and other resident's dignity, no matter
what the circumstances. The home is not purpose built and some of the rooms are shared or small, but it makes up for this by being a home from home and recent redecoration and improvements have made it even better. As mentioned we can visit at any time and are always made welcome by all the staff. The fact that the staff haven't changed in the time my mum has been there is a bonus. I consider them all friends which makes visiting an Alzheimer's suffer so much easier. If you want somewhere that is purpose built and modern Milton Lodge is not for you, but, if you want a home from home where residents are treated with patience, understanding and dignity in their final years then this is the place.

My sister has been cared for in the above home for nearly three years. She is well cared for in all aspects of care. Whenever I call to see her or what time, the staff are always pleasant and friendly. They inform me if my sister has been unwell or unsettled, which varies from day to day. My sister
has Alzheimer's but always tells me or her family she gets wonderful meals and is always lovely and clean. The home itself is very clean but also very homely. Credit to all the staff who show patience and understanding to people who are confused and don't understand what's happening.

The staff and management at Milton Lodge are excellent. When you walk into Milton Lodge it feels like a big happy family home and not a care home. I am very happy that we found Milton Lodge for my mother-in-law. It is the best.

I have to say my stay at Milton Lodge Rest Home has been very pleasant. The staff can't do enough to please you, as some residents are very hard to please. We have bingo, dominoes, sing along, visitors are made very welcome with tea and biscuits.

My mother has been a resident in Milton Lodge for 3 years. She suffers from dementia, I have real peace of mind, knowing that she is cared for by very kind caring staff. The home has a happy family atmosphere with an "open door" policy i.e. visitors are welcome at any time. The manager is always available
to answer any questions or queries and the welfare of the residents is treated as priority. The home is not a modern, purpose built place and some of the rooms are shared as are facilities. However for families who want their loved ones to be cared for in a clean, caring environment by excellent staff this is the place.

Milton Lodge is very neat, tidy and well lit and has large windows which lets in natural light and also allows the residents to see outside. The staff are very friendly and helpful. When I was asked to find somewhere for my nan to live I had a vision of a very clinical, cold dark place. Milton Lodge
has completely changed my view. The staff do an absolute brilliant job of making sure the residents needs are met. I could not recommend it more highly. Top marks.

The staff do everything possible to care for residents. i find them very friendly and patient. The home is always fresh and clean. They all work very hard to maintain the quality they achieve. There is always some entertainment for the residents, Bingo, music, singers, exercises, dominoes etc. I think
they do the best they can. I cannot find anything lacking in my opinion.
