Brookfield Care Home is often described by those that live there as a real home from home. Brookfield is a beautiful care home located in Lymm, Cheshire with good transport links to Warrington and the surrounding areas.

Brookfield provides 24-hour residential care together with short-term respite and day care. The atmosphere in the home is one of warmth, friendliness and happiness.

The staff are highly qualified and treat each resident with dignity and respect, providing care that is unique to their individual needs.

The home is set in beautifully landscaped gardens with a summerhouse, greenhouse and seating.

The large, homely lounge is light and airy and along with the dining room, has a wonderful view of the gardens.

My Mum stayed for just over a week for respite, it was her first time at the Barchester, Brookfield Care home, we were very happy with the caring staff and the care provided for our Mum during her stay. We hope to put mum there again in April for respite, it's a lovely home, tastefully decorated and
immaculately clean, it's close to my brother so he can visit whilst we are away, he and my sister in law were also very impressed with the staff and care home.

Mum lives with us but visits Barchester Brookfield Care Home approximately one week per month.
I have no concerns when dropping her off as the staff are so welcoming and warm.
When I pick her up to go home, she always says that she's had a lovely week. She loves sitting chatting to ladies her own
age. She thinks the staff are lovely and very caring as well as being good fun.
Thanks to everyone at Brookfield for my peace of mind.

Excellent in every way. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Immaculate all the time. Hardworking staff and made to feel like family. Nothing was any trouble and Mum enjoyed her respite stay which helped me so much that Mum was well looked after during my recovery for a knee replacement. Five-star.

Mum stayed at Brookfield Care Home from July for 4 months following a fire at home. The standards of cleanliness, décor, the rooms, shared spaces, hair salon and the menu are 1st class! (Yes, they have a three-course, breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, plus snacks in between) This care home is more like
a 5-star hotel. But most importantly we were blown away by the level of care by the staff. A particular member of staff and her team made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to help Mum settle. Here she has gained friendships with other residents and staff. She's been involved in exercise classes, watched concerts by local schools and taken part in activities. Even her mobility has improved whilst she's been here. The goal was always to get Mum back home again, but having the support of the mentioned staff member and her team has made Mum's situation so much more stress-free. We as a family can't thank Brookfield Care Home enough. They've been amazing!

My mother-in-law went to live at Brookfield in July, and what can I say, this place is amazing, it's clean, always smells lovely when you walk in, and the staff are just wonderful, they go above and beyond to take care of all the residents, and when you visit, you feel so welcome too, always fresh cakes,
biscuits or snacks available, tea and coffee station so you can help yourself. I keep saying I'll book myself in for a week, it really does have a great relaxing vibe. My mother-in-law has said how happy and safe she feels to be somewhere where nothing is too much trouble for the people caring for her, this is high praise indeed from her. Thank you, Brookfield; you really are making a difference, and I for one, can't rate you highly enough.

From entering the home - welcome, offered a cup of tea, brought a chair to me to sit with the resident I was visiting. All staff engaged with me and residents in such a friendly manner.
The home was spotless - beautiful surroundings, photos - very clean, friendly and 'homely' feeling.
Where I have
not given a rating is because I did not use any of these facilities/visit room etc.

Staff are always welcoming, kind, happy and smiling. Mum is well looked after and cared for. We often say she is in a high-standard hotel. The home is well-kept and very clean and has a lovely vibe about it. As a family, we are always welcomed and kept involved about everything. The manager's office
door is always open for a chat, which is very reassuring.

We were fortunate when a place became available for my dad to stay in the home from August 2023. The home is clean and always has a pleasant smell when we visit. It feels more like a hotel! The staff are lovely despite sometimes being extremely busy!
My dad enjoyed a visiting singer a few weeks ago
so it would be lovely if these type of activities were organised regularly.
I am extremely grateful for the care that the staff provide - thank you for looking after him!

My dad entered the care home at the end of August and has been there ever since. I have been very satisfied with the care he has been given so far. As soon as I walked into the building, it felt like home. It has a lovely, cosy feel to it and made my dad feel at ease from day one. The staff have been
very caring and helpful which has really helped us with this difficult decision. Thank you to everyone who works there and continues to care for him.

From the first day, my dad arrived at Brookfield, I can only say how impressed I have been. My main concern was the safe care of my dad. The home is immaculate, clean and bright. The staff are very caring, helpful and always keeping their guests in a happy and comfortable manner. I have witnessed on

My father had two weeks of respite care in May 2023, whilts I went on holiday. He soon settled into the care and really enjoyed himself, so much so that he didn't want to come out. On the 3rd of July, he went back into the home as a permanent resident; he soon settled in again. The home is immaculate,
food excellent, and most important, the staff are all first class. It has taken a big weight off my shoulders.

I am very happy to leave my husband in Brookfield Care Home. He is so very well looked after and the food is exceptionally good. The carers seem to anticipate the resident's needs and show great patience and care to everyone. I would recommend this care home to all my friends.

Job Title: General Manager

Thank you for taking the time to look further into what Brookfield has to offer.


Here is an opportunity to look at some of our staff team and shown here are our Heads of Department. Each one of them plays a vital role in the day-to-day running of the home. I have been in care now since 2002 beginning life as a carer here at Brookfield and then in 2006 I was delighted to be promoted to General Manager. What I love most about my job is caring for people - I love to take time out of my busy day to go around and speak with the residents. I am truly passionate about ensuring that all the ladies and gents who live here with us are provided with the very best care and as a team we all support them to live a healthy and happy life.


Jane

Jane Devoti

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Joined: 2004

Jane is our Deputy Manager who joined the company in 2004 as a Care Assistant. In 2009 she was promoted to Senior Care Practitioner and then later to Deputy General Manager.


Jane supports the General Manager plus all other staff.


She is very approachable and is willing to undertake any task that is allocated. Jane also participates in fund-raising, activities with residents and is also an occasional cook! She is also great at counselling residents and families.


She lives at home with her husband who is now retired and they have been together for 36 years. She has 2 children and 5 grandchildren, the latest additions arrived 2 weeks apart in August this year.


Jane likes to travel and likes to holiday a couple or more times a year to see the world.


Jane loves music and follows lots of musicians on Twitter, especially Harry Stiles and Zane Malik. She also enjoys going to concerts and festivals.

Job Title: Senior Carer

Joined: 2009

I have worked at Brookfield since 2009, initially starting as a night carer. I thoroughly enjoy my job and making a difference each day to those I support. I am responsible for ensuring a high standard of care is delivered to residents and support our General Manager in ensuring the home runs smoothly.
