Keate House Residential Home is situated in the heart of Lymm, Cheshire, offering the highest quality residential, dementia, respite and day care services for adults over 65.

> A nourishing and varied menu is provided and special diets can be catered for by an award-winning catering team.

Always a very friendly and welcoming environment whenever I've visited. Lovely house and garden. Lots of trips out and events are organised for the residents. The staff are always very helpful and kind. After her stay in hospital, my friend has improved greatly since moving to Keate House, which we

The staff are fantastic, really patient and caring. My parents are very well looked after - they are always in good health and kept engaged and active and the families are also really well catered for. Couldn't be happier. with the standard of care.

Fabulous place. A real home from home for Mum. We do not have to worry about Mum's safety and nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. I would happily move in when or if I get to the point of needing extra care.

Mum has lived at Keate House for almost five years and has been well cared for at all times. The staff are all, without exception, friendly, caring and create a wonderfully happy environment for the residents. There is always an activity to join in, you only have to look at their social media page to
see the variety available and how much fun everyone has. Mum is treated as an individual, with her unique set of needs taken care of. I cannot speak highly enough of Keate House, the care and attention of all staff is second to none.

Mum recently moved to Keate House Residential Home due to the vulnerabilities related to Alzheimer's. From the beginning of the process, all of the staff have been kind, understanding and helpful. Considering the pressures of their work they are always pleasant and seem happy in their work which must
reflect on the care for their residents. Mum has settled well and is enjoying the company and the activities, food and being looked after 24/7.

Dad has been a resident now for nearly 18 months and I have been very impressed with his personalised care. Any problems are quickly reported to me and if I have any issues they are addressed promptly. The staff are kind and caring in whatever role they have at Keate house. This has particularly impressed
me and it gives the home a real loving, family atmosphere.

Keate House Residential Home is now my mum's home, she has been a resident for 9 months and we are very happy with the care she receives. Mum has been a resident at Keate House for 5 years and I am extremely happy with the care she receives. As I live abroad, it is reassuring to know that she is being well cared for and living her best life. I really appreciate the video calls which are invaluable as they allow me to connect with Mum
from a distance. I cannot say enough about the care staff, they are a wonderful caring team. Very impressed with the controls that were put in place during covid which I am sure contributed to keeping everyone safe. During a recent illness, all the staff were incredible with adapting to Mum's needs and helping with her recovery. The garden is a lovely surrounding for residents to sit outside on sunny days. Keate House goes above and beyond to schedule and arrange all the many interactive activities and special events. Kudos to everyone involved with Mum's care and a special shout out to two members of staff, in particular. I undoubtedly recommend Keate House.

Dad passed away in August 2021 after a short illness. He was so well cared for, loved and looked after by all the team at Keate House. Since his passing the house agreed that we could erect a pergola in the garden. It has now been built and is used by residents staff and visitors. It is a place for
quiet contemplation and commemorates Dad's life and his time at Keate House. To officially “open” the pergola staff arranged a garden party with a singer. We had cake and non-alcoholic bubbles. It was enjoyed by everyone and a fitting tribute to Dad and all the staff who work tirelessly to give the residents the best possible experience. We are so grateful to them and thank them all for their kindness.

I cannot recommend Keate House enough. They provide a brilliant entertainment and activity programme, the home is well decorated and the facilities are brilliant. The garden is just lovely too. The staff were always respectful, kind and caring to both my grandad and to our family.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Keate House for nearly 5-years. During that time I can honestly say all the staff have been totally amazing at caring for her and all the other residents. During the first lockdown, some staff stayed at Keate House to give all the residents ongoing care, support
and attention, which shows total dedication and selflessness. Due to being a full-time carer for my own parents, I’m not able to visit my mother-in-law but the staff arrange weekly video calls so we can regularly see our loved ones. Keate House newsletters keep us well informed on the constant activities arranged for all of their residents, with fabulous photos which we all treasure. I will happily give Keate House five stars. There isn’t one thing about their ongoing support for their residents that I could fault. Thank you to all the staff from the cleaners, cooks, gardeners, carers and management. You all do a totally amazing job.

Since our mother went into Keate House, suffering from severe dementia, she has been well cared for. There have been ups and downs due to her condition, but at all times the carers communicate with us to keep us well informed of her current mood and health needs. Mum’s home has been Keate House since June 2019 in the Treasured Memory Centre. I feel very lucky that she is being cared for by such a wonderful, hard-working and dedicated staff.
In fact, the staff are amazing - kind, welcoming, respectful of resident and family, cheerful and full of fun. They meet
Mum’s physical, mental and emotional needs with compassion and good humour and, overall, she is happy.
I am kept informed: weekly emails, monthly newsletters and weekly video calls which I greatly appreciate as I live abroad. These started during the pandemic and are indicative of how staff think of new ways to enrich the residents’ lives. The recent photo shoot for Mother’s Day is another example along with the myriad of different daily activities which Mum enjoys when she participates.
I recommend Keate House unreservedly: pleasant rooms and lounges, beautiful gardens, very good facilities and, most importantly, brilliant, thoughtful staff.

We currently hold two vacancies for either residential or dementia care placements. This can be under a permanent or respite (short stay) basis. Both rooms are supported with an en suite (featuring toilet and basin), with one of the vacant rooms also having a personal wet room (featuring a private shower). Rooms come fully furnished with fitted wardrobes and drawers, single divan beds, widescreen TV, telephone point, complimentary Wi-Fi, call bells (and additional aids/adaptive mobility equipment provided as required at no extra cost). Rooms are close to all facilities including dining rooms, lounges, and reception area. These rooms come with an all-inclusive package of newspapers, hair appointments, podiatry, reflexology, and Wi-Fi. Please call for a viewing or tour.

Diane Clarkson

Diane has worked in Health and Social Care since 2004. She joined Keate House in 2008 and has been working as Keate House's Registered Care Manager since 2015. Diane has a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, accompanied by a Level 5 Higher-Degree Apprenticeship in Adult Social Care. Diane is passionate about adult social care and has a particular interest in working with people living with dementia, supporting them alongside her team to achieve great outcomes through personalised care. Diane believes that a happy team creates a happy home.

Mathew has been the Business Manager of Keate House since 2014 and has been a key member in supporting the growth of the home through the years, in line with developments in the care industry. Ryan joined the team in 2016 as a Care Assistant, although he was often regarded as Keate House's 'Jack of all Trades' - working on the Activities and Administration teams in addition to Senior Care work. In 2023, Ryan became Keate House's Quality Lead - managing compliance framework, promoting residents' best interests, and upholding the highest standards of care throughout the home.

Andrew joined the team in March 2024 and has established himself as an integral member of Keate House's administration team. With vast experience in HR and business, Rachel manages the administrative processes of Keate House, in addition to supporting current and prospective residents with their experience at Keate House. Rachel works closely with the management team to uphold the highest levels of communication, ensuring that quality of care is complimented by fantastic service.
