My mum is in Padgate House and it's everything you would want from an NHS care facility. The care is outstanding, except for a bad start my mum had with an agency member of staff, which I believe has been reported and sorted out now. Everything; food, care, nursing and cleanliness is exceptional. Nine
out of ten staff are absolutely lovely. It's a wonderful facility. They pick up the errors made by the hospital in the area, which is quite disgraceful. Old people go into the hospital in the area, they are left in bed, most of the people I have spoken to say their relative walked in hospital, but once they have been in the hospital, they are left in bed and lose all ability to walk. It's a disgrace, then Padgate House have to try and undo the damage caused by the hospital. Padgate House try to do everything to make your relative's stay as pleasant and productive as possible.
