I found all the staff to be very helpful and caring. Their attitude to people, they were caring for was genuine and thoughtful. The home was nice and clean, and there were plenty of staff around to help the residents. The food which was prepared on-site looked very good. I seem to have made the right
choice of a home and am pleased with my decision. I would certainly recommend them.

My mother-in-law has received the highest of care. Nothing is too much for the staff.
She is always dressed appropriately in matching clothes.
Relatives are treated as part of the Ferndale family and the office door is always open.

My partner's mother has only been in the home for five days, my review is limited.
From the short period, my observations are that this home appears to meet all of the resident's needs. The facilities are very good and nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
The managers have helped my partner
to get things sorted out in getting her mother into the home.

My parents are both in Ferndale Mews Care Home, they have been cared for by the staff for three months now and are receiving the best care possible. Any concerns we have are dealt with promptly and to the best of their ability. They are treated with dignity and respect. The staff are happy and willing

Mother decided to become a resident after the care received by her sister for 7 years was fantastic, my mother has Alzheimer’s and all of the staff, nurses, managers, caregivers and cleaners handle her changing moods wonderfully.

Ferndale Mews is excellent. They have surpassed anything I could ever have imagined in terms of care for my husband. He entered the home 3 weeks ago with very complex dementia care needs. He took ill a few days ago and all the staff were excellent. All their training and care qualities took over and
they ensured that he received the help he needed and I could tell that they have followed the necessary steps put in place to ensure that my husband was cared for. He visited the hospital and returned to the care home 2 days later and it really was like going back home. His face was beaming when he returned and that said it all for me. He even joined in the chair exercise class when he got back there. My husband is in very safe hands and I would thoroughly recommend Ferndale Mews. They do not just care, they really care.

I am satisfied with the care mum is receiving and the staff are all very caring and respectful. Mum tells us often how she is being well taken care of. Your staff clearly all work hard to make the residents feel at ease and the families too. Mum's room is kept clean, she is enjoying her meals, and the

Apart from the number of different managers over the last two years, the overall care has been good. Noticed a lack of activities when Mum first arrived, now, unfortunately, she's bed-bound. Staff have improved over the last six months. Rooms are a bit dismal regarding decor.
