For months my father had been confined to bed at home. When we moved him to Carlin Lodge, from the first day he was out of bed and using a zimmer frame to stand and shuffle. He put on weight as the care home provided food he enjoyed. He laughed and sang really happily. The staff were wonderful, caring
and kind. When he died holding my hand the staff were kind and caring to me, something I will always remember.

My dad was admitted to Carlin lodge in April after being very ill in hospital. He and the family were made to feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble for them. My dad is cared for very well and the staff are friendly and helpful. The manager goes above and beyond to keep us informed of things
and to ensure the residents are cared for and their needs met. I would highly recommend this care home.

I have no hesitation in highly recommending Carlin Lodge as kind, caring and supportive of its residents, the family of the residents and the staff team.
My father is a resident, he arrived from hospital at 8pm in the evening, the manager was there to welcome and settle him into his lovely, bright
and sunny room. If we have concerns he assists in providing solutions for all concerned, he has been especially helpful with a new doctor and district nursing team.
The food is good, the staff are attentive to Dad's needs, he enjoys sitting in the sun lounge, we can telephone and speak to him and visit after the staff do a lateral flow test.

My friend is happy and the staff take time to chat to him.
He is allowed to sit where he likes and watch TV.

The care home, in my opinion, is the best home I or my husband have been in and we have had family and friends in different ones. It is inviting to walk into, greeted by warm, smiling and caring staff, who are kind and efficient in their duties. The food is excellent and varied, the surroundings are
well thought out and nicely decorated rooms are airy and large. Most importantly, my friend now looks the best I've seen her for a long time.
