In the time my uncle has spent at Bollingbroke House I have found the staff that I have dealt with to be very friendly and helpful, they have kept me updated on his wellbeing.
Due to Covid I have only been able to visit face to face on one occasion so far which was only allowed after I had had a negative
test, which they carried out at the home. The visit was very safe in a room with only me and my uncle which was sanitized before we entered and when we left. My uncle was very clean, tidy and content within himself. He can get anxious and struggle with new people but has settled in here quite fast for him. I am so far very happy with the care and attention that he is receiving.

Our mother was made a permanent resident in June this year when she became unable to look after herself any longer after a serious fall. She was welcomed into the home and we can only heap praise on all the staff at Bollingbroke from the manager through to cleaners who have made her life as comfortable
and pleasant as can be at these very trying times. Everything they have done has been wonderful and we as a family feel that our mother could not be in a better or safer place. They go out of their way to be helpful and they encourage Mum to participate and join in with the various activities throughout the day. We can only say a very big thank you to each and every one of the staff for looking after our mum.

The staff I have meet seam very friendly and nice. My mum says that she has a nice room. However concerned that they don’t respond to emails or messenger. A good level of communication is needed since we are not able to see my mother.

My Grandad has been a resident since last year. Knowing that he is being cared for in such a supportive, caring and professional but warm home makes me feel very happy. I live a long distance from my grandad so knowing he is safe and being cared for to such a high standard gives me peace of mind. When
I do visit I am always made to feel very welcome, offered a drink and found a space to sit with Grandad. If I have any questions the staff always take time to discuss them with me. Every time I phone to ask how he is, I am greeted in a warm and friendly way staff always give me detailed information about how he is, what he has been doing etc. They also ask if I would like to speak to him and pass the phone to him for a quick chat. The staff all take the time to get to know him, his social and medical requirements. They take great care of him, noting the small things that make such a difference to him. The manager is very professional but at the same time very kind, caring and warm.

My father has been cared for by the manager and his amazing team since August 2019. He has dementia and other complex care needs and the care that he receives on a daily basis is excellent. The peace of mind that my Mum, my sister and I have, knowing that our loved one is being cared for in a family-type
setting with patience and respect is invaluable. There is lots of love and laughter here and all of the team are welcoming and genuinely interested in the emotional as well as the physical well-being of the residents. The decision that any family makes to have their loved one cared for outside of their home is very difficult and emotional, but being able to witness the quality of care that they receive here, helps us enormously.

Information about the resident doesn't get passed on to relatives very often, i.e. how they have been.

Mum needed care after losing my dad. We tried to keep her at home as long as we could but her dementia got worse and she wouldn't let me help her.
It's peace of mind knowing she is looked after and she seems happy and settled. She eats and sleeps well, which she wasn't at home. Thank you to everyone
at Bollingbroke for caring for her.

I think the staff in Bollingbroke are first class. They look after my sister great. It has been a massive weight off my shoulders since she came in here.
