Very happy with the way Mum is treated and cared for at Hoyland Hall. Her food is always tailored to her as she doesn't like a lot so is always given what she wants. Rooms are nicely decorated and carers and the management team are always approachable should you need them.

A few things on guidelines of the Government needs to be addressed. We need more visiting times, not just two people per day and a lot more in the pod. I know all about Covid-19 and how long it takes to clean when we have left. Would also like to be told when a resident has been put on treatment for
anything on the day and not find out days later.

I have telephoned the reviewer and personally spoken with him following the above review, assuring him that we will continue to flex visiting times around his work hours to enable him to visit his mother as often as he wishes, as we are currently doing, whilst ensuring we are adhering to government guidelines.
I can only offer my apologies if there was a breakdown in communication on any treatment for his mum; however, I am aware that the Home team do ring the reviewer's sister to update her, so sometimes it is not always possible to speak with all members of the family. However, we do take on board the reviewer's feedback.
I would also like to thank the reviewer for the compliment about the complete refurbishment of Hoyland Hall recently carried out by the new owners.
