Wyndthorpe Hall & Court is located in the Doncaster suburb of Dunsville. The home is convenient for the M18 motorway and is close to shops, public transport and other amenities.

This late 18th Century property has been carefully converted and also has an additional purpose built annex. The home cares for the frail elderly and the mentally infirm elderly in a selection of differing rooms. Accommodation is in single occupancy, mainly en-suite rooms, although some are large enough for sharing.

Wyndthorpe Hall has TV lounges and a quiet sitting room. Meals can be taken in the separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others. A good selection of traditional home cooked food using fresh produce is served with special diets being catered for. Daily choices are available. Meals can also be served in residents' room if required. For a small extra charge residents can entertain guests or have small private parties.

No matter what time of day any of our extended family arrive at the home we are treated with a welcome. The grounds are simply outstanding. The government should be ASHAMED of itself for blocking this type of care for our elderly with the outrageous claims that it is better for residents to stay in
their own homes. My mother who has has seven children is now a widow and my parents worked all our lives and paid taxes. My mothers life expectancy has now increased with the care and company she now receives from the staff and other residents. We are a hard working family and with all the will in the world could not now give her the care she needs. We need more good homes not less. We thank you all for your commitment. Thank You. Thank You Thank You.

This is our third year, and have had no problems. We have had and enjoyed coffee mornings, Christmas parties with entertainment and various parties through the year, which mum enjoyed. She seems to be well looked after by friendly staff.

My father has been in this care home for the last six months. We chose Wyndthorpe Hall because of its closeness to where we live, from personal recommendation, and the visit we undertook prior to dad moving in. Every time, we are always made welcome, staff are always friendly and caring. The activities
are excellent and dad gets great pleasure form them. If there is anything untoward they contact me immediately. From what I have seen everywhere is clean and dad always has clean clothes on and looks well kept. dad has put weight on since he came and from what I have seen the choice is varied and presented nicely.

Wynthorpe Hall provides a safe and secure home for my mum. The staff are all extremely caring, friendly and professional, ensuring that they know exactly what mums needs are and they look after her well. Activities provided for residents are varied and frequent, taking residents out in the community
whenever possible. Mum has been to the pantomime and shopping before Christmas and she is 96 years old! Coffee mornings and parties that involve the relatives are common place. Any problems that may arise are dealt with promptly and discussions about medical care involve relatives at all stages.

We are very satisfied with all aspects of the home and staff. The only problem we have had is with the laundry side, sometimes he has no socks or handkerchiefs.
