Since a short period of respite, my mum has become a permanent resident. All the staff have made this transition for my mum as stress-free as possible. Their care and commitment have helped to reassure us as a family that we have made the right decision.

My mum has always refused to go into respite, I think because of the stories she reads. However, my brother and I looked around a few care homes and were recommended Prior Bank. We were able to turn up unannounced and were given a tour by a member of staff. We were impressed and able to persuade Mum
to give it a try. She really appreciated the care given to her and loved chatting with all the staff. She was able to see how caring the staff were with all the residents. In fact, she extended her respite and would not hesitate to go there again.

Mum is being well cared for by excellent staff in an excellent facility. She has received the medical and personal treatment she needs. Mum has always been a bit stroppy and selfish. Her current confusion has not diminished this, and I thank you for dealing with this.

Dad has been a resident of Prior Bank for a couple of years now and his care has been very good. Whenever I visit he is happy and in the lounge area watching TV or taking part in an activity. I have only been able to visit occasionally recently but I know Mum has been very well cared for. I have spoken to the new deputy manager about improving the tracking of Mum's clothes and plans are in place for laundry. It has been great to see Mum on social media and welcome the new newsletter. Thanks,
as always, to the hardworking staff. Mum has been with you for six months now and the family has finally relaxed knowing she is in your capable hand caring hands.

It has been one of the hardest decisions to move Mum from home to care but Prior Bank is definitely the right choice. A warm and comfortable environment with regularly planned activities was always important, but what makes Priors Bank really special is the individual care and kindness my mother receives
on a daily basis. To the staff at Priors Bank it is obvious their work is not just a job but a vocation. The manager has a clear vision and the whole team responds quickly to any questions I may have. They treat my mother like any of the family. What more could I ask?

Dad has stayed twice at Prior Bank for respite care, between 2-6 weeks each time. He has stayed in two other homes in Sheffield and this is by far the one he most prefers. The staff genuinely seem to want the best for the residents. They all seem to have a friendly, helpful, cheery disposition, in what
must be a difficult workplace. Dad loves the food, and appreciates the effort people have gone to, to try and learn how to make a camp coffee! Dad will definitely be back. Thank you.

Mum has moved here recently and there was a covid outbreak immediately she moved in. So it has not been easy to get a feel for Prior Bank. The staff are very welcoming when I visit and the manager made the assessment for Prior Bank very easy and straightforward. Mum's room is lovely and always clean.
Great to be able to bring my dog to visit mum.
