My father has been a resident at The Flowers since February 2020. In this short period, we have found all the staff from the top down to be very caring, approachable and very friendly. They will go out of their way to help and give guidance regarding what is best for your loved one. In this short period,
we feel we have become part of their family, and have missed visiting my dad and interacting with the other residents due to the covid-19 pandemic.
The manager took the decision early to lock down the home, and it has paid dividends in keeping all her guests safe, well done and thanks to you and all your brilliant staff. We have had weekly updates from the manager and also been able to talk with Dad on the phone, as I say the staff are very willing and accommodating.
Many thanks from myself and my family in these uncertain times, please keep safe and keep your heads up.
We would not hesitate in recommending your home to anyone who asks us.
Once again thank you all.

I would just like to say a big massive thank you for everything you did in caring for my beloved Nana. You showed her nothing but kindness and always cared for her in a respectful manner. Your Staff are such a lovely team of ladies, that are a credit to your care home.
It was such a sad time when
she passed away, but you helped me through it, offering me love and support at such a difficult time. Me and my family can not thank you enough.

A very welcoming home, exceptionally friendly and professional staff. All residents were happy and free to move around.
All diets were catered for, plenty of stimulation from staff, outings out weekly.
My mum stayed here for two weeks respite. Her words were "staff can't do enough for everyone".
I
wouldn't hesitate to leave Mum here again. She was looked after properly.
The home and staff deserve some recognition.

My mother has been a resident of The Flowers Care Home, Bradford, since August 2015 and I have 100% confidence in the owner, manager and staff. I know that my mother is safe and happy and that she is receiving 24/7 love and care. I am kept fully informed of any problems that my mother may be experiencing,
and feel part of the care plan process; meeting with the manager and my mother's GP, to discuss her care needs. I have also had contact with Adult Social Services who carry out visits to the home from time to time.

The staff are always very welcoming and friendly and the home does feel like the resident's home with various activities from time to time, as well as supervised outings for those that wish to partake. My mother has an en-suite room which is always kept clean and tidy, her clothes are regularly cleaned and replaced in drawers and wardrobe.

Overall, I think this home and the service they provide are second to none. Thank you to all for looking after my mum.

Lovely friendly home from home. I really trust the staff and having spent most evenings there over the last year, know they are calm and caring to the residents. My Mum is reaching the end of her life and they have been great supporting me visiting and staying as long as I want with her. There is always
something going on if needed, from music, sing-song to a trip out. The fact my Mum has stayed well, no chest infections or pressure sores is a credit to the staff at this stage of her life. The residents enjoy their food and there is supper served and treats and day. Lots of love and laughter. As a nurse myself, feeling my mum is safe, well fed and cared for is paramount. The staff let you know if any change, from the slightest mark on her skin to noticing she is not herself. For residential care in a quaint environment with staff and residents that feels like a family, you would be pushed to find better.

My mum has been at The Flowers since Nov 2012. I visited many care homes to find one that I was happy with and the moment I walked into the Flowers I knew it was the right one. The manager was very helpful and explained everything, visited my mum in hospital and arranged the transfer to the care home
very promptly, which was a great help as I was being pressurised by the hospital to move her quickly. The home is bright, warm and welcoming, the food is lovely and the care is second to none.
The staff and management at the Flowers are exceptional and always take great care of the residents. Caring for someone with dementia can be very challenging at times and the staff are very well trained in this. I am always informed the moment there is an issue with mum, ie an accidental fall or illness and I am always kept up to date with any issues or concerns. I would recommend this care home very highly.
