After looking around various care homes, of which none were found suitable, I got a recommendation to check Lee Mount Care Home, on the first visit, I was very impressed with the staff's work ethics, nothing is too much trouble they go above and beyond their dedication shines through they genuinely
care about the residents well being and also the residents families.
Management at Lee Mount is amazing, thoughtful, and considerate. They keep us updated with my father's well-being and are passionate about running a 5-star service for all the Lee Mount residents who Lee Mount class as family members.
I wholeheartedly recommend Lee Mount care home.

Regarding Lee Mount Care Home, I cannot fault them in any way. My dad is cared for in a personal-centred way, and his needs are met, the staff are always friendly and welcoming, and I have a good rapport with them.
The service provides activities should people choose to engage, and the meals and snacks
are ample and of good nutrition.

My Mom was a resident at Lee Mount Care Home for 4 years and the whole time she was there she looked on the staff as her family. They gave her the care and love that she needed and she loved them back! We call it Lee Mount Holiday Home because she had more social activities than we do! Unfortunately,
she passed away in January but she was happy and comfortable and the staff did everything they could to make her passing as peaceful as possible. She loved her time at Lee Mount and as a family we knew she was safe and well looked after! We can't thank the staff and management enough!

My father moved to Lee Mount around four ago and we have seen a noticeable improvement in his wellbeing. There are a couple of areas where Lee Mount really excels. Firstly, the residents are involved in numerous activities increasing interactions and providing stimulation. This has resulted in a marked
improvement in quality of life. Secondly, there is excellent communication; keeping family informed and providing updates and regular postings on social media is really helpful. It provides great peace of mind. Leadership is visible and hands-on and residents are treated with patience, encouragement and respect.

My dad moved into Lee Mount recently from a residential care home who were unable to provide the necessary level of care as Dad's dementia progressed. Two months on there's been a major improvement in his personal care and he is just so much happier. The staff are very patient and caring with him and,
for the first time in nearly two years, he's been going on outings. The home put a lot of thought and effort into keeping the residents active and engaged. I am very glad that he is in such good hands.

As a family, we are completely satisfied that Dad is getting the best care possible.
We now feel confident that he is happy with life again. Before going to Lee Mount he was getting a bit fed up with everything, but now he has got a new lease of life.

All the staff are really great with my nana, who has dementia. They're very patient with her and have helped when things have been difficult.
Any time I visit, I'm also looked after and accommodated for!
I have a great deal of peace knowing she's looked after by the guys and girls at Lee Mount Care

The caring is on the whole very good. There are times when assistance is requested at night when it is not forthcoming in a timely manner, note this is the opinion of a 92-year-old client. The food is on the whole ok. Whilst the buildings are old and somewhat cramped the level of care which is the most
important issue is very good.

My father-in-law is safe and happy. He is kept occupied mentally and physically as much as possible. My feelings are taken into account in all aspects of care. He is encouraged to self care where possible. He goes out on trips using access bus or wheelchair taxis.

Staff show empathy and patience with the residents. They tailor the care to each individual's needs and wants. They show kindness and respect. There is always something going on to stimulate and interest the residents. No one is pressured to join in any of the activities, but gentle encouragement helps
everyone to feel included and valued. There are lots of initiatives and ideas for how to keep residents occupied, including walking outside, trips out and parties and celebrations.

My mum had a short stay at another care home before moving to Lee Mount, the difference was like night and day. Since becoming a resident at Lee Mount we have seen a massive, positive change in my mum's physical and mental health.
The activities keep my mum busy, she has a proper sleep routine, and
she is encouraged to eat and drink regularly and does so.
My mum also enjoys trips to town, going out for coffee, trips to local shops, parties, themed days, and getting her hair and nails done. All the things we struggled to get Mum to engage with are done with a smile here, from the staff and my mum. Staff take plenty of photos too.
We visit most days, but sometimes before bed, my mum just needs to hear my voice, staff ring me and I have a chat with Mum, just like she did when she was in her own home.
I am contacted regularly and informed of any changes or concerns. Likewise, any concerns I have are dealt with. Lee Mount staff work so hard and we will be forever thankful.

My mother has been a resident at Lee Mount for a couple of years. She has recently had surgery on her hip and has lost a lot of confidence in walking, the staff are constantly encouraging her with her rehabilitation and hopefully rebuild her confidence. The home provide a wide range of activities throughout
the year. Communication about Mum is regularly provided and is much appreciated.

My mother has only recently become a resident at Lee Mount. During this time of adjustment for us all members of staff have shown care and understanding in a very professional manner. They have spent precious time getting to know her, talking to her about her life and her likes and interests. This has
enabled her to build relationships and feel valued. There's also a very high standard of communication for the family. I have been informed immediately of any concerns and felt reassured and included. I now feel confident about the care my mother is receiving. I couldn't fault this place once. It was absolutely perfect for my dad and if I had to go into a home, I would choose this place. My mother-in-law became a resident mid-January and the care she has received from the staff at Lee Mount has been to a high standard. She has felt very safe and well looked after, settling in quickly in what was a very emotional time. The stimulation and activities are fantastic with such hard work
and dedication by the staff. Updates are regular and any specific matters are discussed in a timely manner. A real family atmosphere. Highly recommend.
