Both my parents are in Aden View they have been there for 2 years they are really well cared for any problem with them they ring straight away.
The staff are all really welcoming and are happy to help and provide any information you ask. I didn't want them to go into a care home was really anxious
but now I have peace of mind they are so well looked after and cared for.

Nothing seems too much trouble for the staff including the management. My 91-year-old mother was put at ease at once she now has no fear or troubles from the past. The staff seem happy and content with their place of work and this transfers to the guests.

12 months ago I had the hardest decision to make about putting mum into care after weeks of searching I placed her in Aden View. Mum has dementia so was placed on the dementia side of the care home. The staff are fantastic nothing too much trouble for them always make you feel welcome always keep you
updated about mum when I visit.
Her great-grandchildren love to visit as there is so much fin in the room with singing, dancing and activities not forgetting office and managers who are fantastic. Keep it up you are all doing great.

Spacious home with excellent facilities. Staff are attentive and always available if required. Bedroom large and airy. Nice outdoor areas when weather is good.

The new manager is very pleasant and approachable. She seems very caring and appears to enjoy her work. All the staff appear friendly. My dad is still relatively new to the home and finds it difficult to socialise however, the staff are aware and do try to coax him. I am hoping in time dad will eat
with the residents and start to mix.

My Mum has been a member of the Aden View family for just over two years. I visit her most days and have got to know all of the residents and staff through this time. I like to spend lunchtime with Mum, the food is tasty and well presented. The care and other support staff are always welcoming and supportive
to me, and I can always tell that Mum is well looked after. I also have a little chat with other residents when I visit, and everyone has a smile for me, they are lovely people. The atmosphere is one of calm and the lounge feels comfortable. The care team do what they can to keep everyone happy. There are sometimes organised entertainers, and the staff also get involved with adhoc singing and dancing, or ball games, which go down well.
When I've had concerns, the manager has always acted promptly and I have felt reassured. The home is not standing still and I can see good changes happening - some redecoration and using a wireless speaker for music.

Friendly, caring staff.
They gave my grandad reassurance when he thought he had lost his glasses but the had gone for repair.
All staff in the home, including domestic staff, knew about the new, red bag policy and were able to explain it in detail to us.

Before my father entered Aden View for 4 weeks of respite he kept himself to himself and was not very sociable, but with the staff and residents being so friendly it really brought him round. It has been a while since we have seen him so happy.

The manager and staff team at Aden View are outstanding in the care they provide.
They have been first rate in their handling of a recent serious health issue that led to my mother being admitted to hospital. They recognised when she was becoming unwell and acted with urgency and professionalism.
They also worked extremely hard to enable her to be discharged from hospital as early as possible as my mother just 'wanted to go home' where she feels safe and cared for.
The Aden View team have also worked extremely hard with my mother and all family members to help my mother in her desired goal to lose weight. The whole team and particularly the kitchen staff have been amazing in their commitment and person centred approach including individualised menu planning,
Communication between the manager, staff team, residents and family members is first rate and I always feel reassured that any worries can be discussed and will be acted upon.
An excellent care home!

I cannot say enough great things about Aiden View. The Manager is fantastic at her job, always there, ready and willing if you have any problems. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is first class. I am so happy and glad that my mum got a room there, she absolutely loves it and has

My uncle is so very happy at Aden View. He has been there for 18 months now and every time I go, there is the consistency of staff involvement, friendliness and caring. All the care workers seem happy in their work. My uncle has Parkinson's disease and even though he is unable to stand, they put his
Lp's on and pretend to dance with him. They spend time talking to him and understand his needs. Thank you so much.

I joined care originally in 1996 as a care assistant, then moved to Aden View in 2003 where I was a full-time care assistant. I applied for the home administrator position in 2009 and have been the admin since then, I have NVQ level 2 in Health & Social Care and level 3 in Business Administration.

Joined: 2019

I have worked at Aden View for nearly 5 years in total. I joined in 2019 supporting the kitchen team before taking on the activity coordinator position in January 2024. I have always worked in the care sector, starting with caring for my mum at home before she passed away, I then worked in elderly care and also in supported living looking after clients with different complex needs. I’ve held senior positions and have care certificates plus NVQ levels 2 and 3 in care and completed all mandatory training.
