Of all the the care homes I have visited, or have had relatives stay, I can honestly say that Brantwood Hall is the most caring, professionally staffed and reliable I know. Throughout my father's stay, I was kept informed of his condition at all times, was made welcome whenever I visited, and felt totally
secure that his needs would be catered for. I was listened to, and any concerns were responded to quickly and comprehensively. I think the overall feeling I had was that the staff genuinely tried their hardest to make people feel at home and important. In my experience this is rare. I felt reassured that my father was in safe, capable and caring hands. His room was lovely, warm and clean and his safety was taken seriously. Meals were tasty and varied and home cooked and he enjoyed them enormously. He actually left looking more sprightly than when he arrived! I'm grateful to all staff and am delighted that I happened upon such a well-run home that I would have no hesitation in using again.

The nursing home and staff are all excellent, my only problem is the dementia patients/clients trying to get into his room, I have put a baby gate on to stop this. The manager is always nice and polite. The only problem really is not being able to get in, and having to get staff off the job to answer
the door.

My father moved to Brantwood in Dec 2022. Visiting is always a pleasure as the manager and staff are very friendly and the care home is warm and clean within a safe environment. From what I have seen, the food is amazing. Residents are given a choice, proper home-cooked well-balanced meals, with desserts.
Also drinks and snacks and the occasional ice lolly (in summer) are offered in between meal times.
Religion has been a big part of my father's life so I am grateful that the care home accommodates church ministers who visit him in his room on Sundays. We were also able to put a small piano in his room so when I visit I can play him some hymns which he likes to sing to.
I have peace of mind knowing that my dad is receiving his medications which are reviewed in a timely manner. Also, any hospital appointments are taken care of including booking transport.
It is also lovely to see that when it is a resident's birthday the staff make a fuss and decorate the lounge with bunting.

My grandad was moved to Brantwood Hall Care Complex in December 2023 due to safeguarding issues at a previous care home. Since he has been here, I have nothing but praise for every single staff member, they have been so supportive and understanding and caring towards my grandad and other residents.
My grandad has improved massively and is like a different person. He has made lots of new friends and loves the staff, he also doesn't ask to come home anymore which is very reassuring to us, as a family. We can't thank you all enough.

My father is in respite at Brantwood Hall Care Complex at the moment. I would highly recommend this care home. The staff give 100% and this is obviously their vocation. They are friendly, always smiling and very tentative to the residents, nothing is too much trouble. Patience of a saint springs to
mind. Thank you for looking after my father at this upsetting and worrying time.

My mother was placed at Brantwood Hall after being discharged from the hospital, having been injured in a fall. We have visited other care complexes but found Brantwood superior in all areas. The staff are caring, the management accommodating, but most importantly, my mother is well cared for and content.
She has been encouraged to walk with her frame in a safe environment, and I have observed activities. Overall, I am very pleased with the care my mum is receiving.

Always friendly helpful staff that take good care of my sister. My sister always says the food is good the staff look after her very well. If she has any medical issues the doctor will visit and prescribe special care that the staff will carry out.
