We were always happy with the food provided, and staff are always pleasant. The laundry service has always appeared very good. The activities were a bit lacking. Since refurbishment there has been a great improvement in the environment and they have now got an activities person. We feel that we could
now recommend Bradley House.

This care home was taken over by new management approximately seven weeks ago after being deemed a failing home by CQC report. Both the new manager and area manager have totally revamped the home and it is now a fabulous warm place to visit as a relative. Everything has been decorated, a new floor
put down and the rooms are lovely. My mum now has a proper care plan in place. I have noticed such a change in mum. She is so much happier and engaged more with people/staff. She is even taking part in some activities in the activity room which takes place throughout the week. Things have been put in place to aid my mum with her deafness. We have a good relationship with the home who are welcome us any time of the day/night (I am a shift worker) and keep us well informed. Keep it up ! Well done to all!

Hi, my name is Tammy and I’m the manager at Bradley House Care Home.


I’ve worked in care for 30 years and have 15 years of experience in a managerial role. I have gained NVQ 4 and the Register Managers Award (RMA).


I have been the manager of Bradley House since September 2020.


I believe residents should feel at home when in our care as that is essentially what we are, their home.


Dignity and respect are what I hold high and instil in all of my hard-working staff.


In my spare time, I enjoy making memories with my family, whether it be taking the dogs for walks or going on holidays and I love nothing more than getting my nose into a really good book.

Hi, my name is Kelly and I work at Bradley House Care Home as a Senior Administrator. I have now been with the company for 8 years working in each of the homes in the group.


My role is office-based, supporting the home, manager, staff, and relatives. I thoroughly enjoy being a part of Bradley House, the care staff provide a nice relaxing environment, and my own tasks are varied, from processing wages to ensuring all staff are enrolled on adequate training for their role. No two days are the same!


It is also nice to have the opportunity to get involved and support the residents who often have a wealth of knowledge and stories to share.


When I am not in the office my two girls keep me very busy, we enjoy our weekend breaks and summer camping trips but also do love to just relax in our pj’s with treats and a good movie.

Hi my name is Hannah and I’ve worked at Bradley House for 6 years, I started as a kitchen assistant and stayed in this role up until August 2022. I loved working in the home but I wasn’t able to spend as much time with the residents as I wanted, so I moved over to activities coordinator when that vacancy became available and I absolutely love it. It’s enabled me to really get to know the residents I work with and bring a smile to their faces.


I love seeing them join in my activities and be able to see the positive effect this brings to their lives. Coming up with daily activities which are meaningful, is no easy task and it keeps my mind very busy but seeing them plan out makes it all worthwhile. We enjoy activities that include live entertainment, animals, fayres, music, being creative, light exercise and mental stimulation, as well as sensory stimulation and giving the person a sense of being involved and part of a community.


Most of all activities take away loneliness, even just having a 1 to 1 chat over a cup of tea is all someone needs and I’m privileged to say this is my job. I have two grown-up children and a 12-year-old and in my spare time, I like to make memories with them and my partner.

I have been at Bradley House now for eight years and have completed many roles within this timeframe. I started as a cleaner then onto care. In 2021 I went on maternity leave and since returning from maternity leave I have now secured my role as relief team leader. I enjoy this role and ensuring that our residents have all the correct medication and help that they need. I have a little boy called Oakley John, who is also a massive part of the Bradley family. We enjoy popping into the home on our day off as Oakley’s cheeky little smile makes the resident's day. I enjoy baking and do like making cakes, cupcakes and all sorts of tasty little treats for our residents and will step in as cook when our amazing cook staff are on leave. In those 8 years, I have been a cleaner and a carer I have worked nights and days. Also, I worked in the kitchen for three years and really enjoyed this.

Hi, my name is Kim and I’ve worked at Bradley for 11 years.


I originally started as a night carer, then I went into the kitchen as a cook.


I returned to caring on days and then progressed within my role as team leader. I have an NVQ 3 in social care and hold a diploma in dementia care.


I have 3 grown-up children and 6 grandchildren who keep me busy outside of work. I enjoy my yearly Tattershall break with family like to play darts and love attending any events that Bradley households for residents and relatives.
