My dad came into Cloverdale at short notice and the manager and staff responded efficiently and supportively to ensure that his admission was smooth and welcoming. Information was sought to help 'personalise' his care and time was taken to find out his likes and dislikes and to integrate him into the
home. Communication was efficient and regular during his (relatively) short stay and staff were always caring and respectful towards him. He was well cared for during his stay at the home and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

My stay at the Cloverdale Care Home for 2 nights was very good. Food, staff and personnel were very polite, helpful and the home was very clean. Food was enjoyable etc, I have no hesitation to visit Cloverdale again if necessary in the future. Thank you.

My mother was admitted to Cloverdale for respite care. Unfortunately, she took a turn for the worse and this became 'end of life' care. She was treated with the utmost respect and dignity. I could not have asked for better care. She was given 110% care from all members of staff, as were myself, father
and sister. Nothing was too much trouble, no matter what the request was. I stayed with my mother night and day for 3 days until she passed away, I was cared for in the same way they all cared for my mother. I cannot thank them enough for the care and attention they gave her.

I was made welcome the moment I arrived which was very reassuring, the meals were better than I made at home. The place itself was very nicely decorated and spotless. The staff were very helpful in every way and very pleasant, nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend it to anyone, the place itself
is very special which means a lot, you can just sit and watch the rabbits chasing about plus lots of other wildlife. Last of all you couldn't find a better place, this is my honest opinion, the place is like a palace.

My mother has been at Cloverdale for four years and has been treated with great dignity and care by all the staff. We have had very few concerns but these have always been dealt with promptly and to our satisfaction. As we live away from the home the staff have always made contact with us and kept us
informed regarding mothers well being.

My aunt has just spent three weeks at Cloverdale after undergoing major surgery. When she went in we wondered if she would ever be fit enough to return home. She is elderly and registered disabled. After outstanding care and support from the staff at Cloverdale she is now back home. She had a large
comfortable room but the real plus point must be the staff who treated her with the utmost respect and catered for her every need, which were numerous. The welcome also made her feel at home.

At Cloverdale, we are fortunate in that we have a fantastic housekeeping team which is made up of four incredibly talented ladies who not only dedicate themselves to their job role but to the wellbeing of the residents too.


Sue came to Cloverdale as a care assistant in 2017 and she joined the housekeeping team a short while after as a laundry and domestic assistant. Sue thrives on socialising with the residents, her empathetic, caring nature ensures that she treats the resident's own rooms as she would her own home, paying attention to detail and making sure residents are safe and comfortable.

Jo has been a part of the Cloverdale family for 21 years. Jo started out as a care assistant for many years where she also trained to be a team leader before moving over to the housekeeping team and undertaking the role of laundry assistant.


Jo takes great pride in her work and always gives 200% effort in everything that she does. Jo is warm and friendly with a natural instinct to help the residents regardless of her role.


Laundering clothes for up to 40 people is a massive task particularly when many items are often not named. Jo works tirelessly to ensure clothes are cared for to the highest standard and returned to the right person.
