I am very happy with the care at Ravendale Hall. It is a lovely homely environment, very welcoming and friendly. Communication with family could be improved by a regular emailed report on health and welfare, also with clearer notification of events e.g a regular newsletter would be beneficial.

Ravendale Hall is perfect for my Dad its surroundings are very much like my dad is used to and it's small and very much like a family because of this. My dad is living with dementia and my mum has got to the point of not being able to cope after years of managing alone, with just occasional help from
the rest of the family. The staff here are magnificent to and very good to dad.

Since Dad has been at Ravendale Hall he has received excellent care and the care is outstanding. I would also like to say the staff and management have been very supportive to me during the difficult decisions I have to make to keep Dad safe and well cared for. My aunt lived at Racebdale for three and a half very happy years. She arrived in a terrible state on "end of life care". It is a testament to the fabulous care provided by all of the fabulous staff that she recovered and had so much extra quality time. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and exemplary
care was delivered with endless care, compassion and humour. I simply can't recommend this wonderful care home enough.

I have nothing but praise for Ravendale Hall Care Home. The professionalism and kindness of all the staff are outstanding. My sister, who has complex needs, went to Ravendale Hall to recuperate after a difficult operation and from the start, I was confident that her needs were being met. Nothing was
ever too much trouble for the team. They were always so responsive and patient. I very much appreciated the way they helped my sister to regain her independence and prepared her for going home. The excellent food encouraged her to start eating normally again and the range of stimulating daily activities was a real motivating factor for her walking and keeping active. All in all, the team have created a welcoming, supportive and inclusive environment.

The last two years because of covid have been very difficult for Ravendale but management did their very best to provide safe visiting for residents and families. The refurbishment of the home has made it an attractive and inviting environment. Recently my sister has developed many difficulties but
the management and staff are doing all they can by calling in medical services. They are caring and supportive of my sister and to me.

My mum was placed at Ravensdale Hall after suffering a stroke and has a permanent place now. Where do I start? Her room is brilliant, the surroundings are stunning and the whole care team and office staff are first class. From the manager to the carers to the domestics and handyman and kitchen staff
it is, without doubt, a family! Couldn't ask for more to go to bed a night without worrying that mum's needs are not met is wonderful and to top it off the homemade food is top-notch.

The staff are exceptionally calm, courteous, kind, and professional. They are level-headed and deal with distress without fuss. They treat my friend with good humour and concern, for instance rebuking me gently for visiting her too early in the day when they felt she would rather be left asleep! When
I ring I can tell I am interrupting some activity but they will always take the phone to wherever my friend is.

I would say that as my mother's time came the staff were exemplary in their duties.
Nothing was too much trouble. Caring as it should be and I never had any concerns with regards to my mother's care at all at any time there.
It was such a weight lifted off my shoulders knowing that she was well cared
for and I can say that as an ex-nurse from a professional point of view.

From the moment Mum arrived, the care has been exceptional. Mum has been treated like royalty during her short stay and cared for by all as if she was a member of their own family. As a family, we could not have wished for better care anywhere. It is a lovely place with excellent facilities and amazing
food. Nothing is too much for the staff and as Mum deteriorated they have all been amazing with her and our family. Thank you Ravendale from the bottom of our hearts for looking after all of us in such sad times.

My sister transferred to this home in June 2019. The staff have been absolutely brilliant with sorting out the move and with making her feel very much at home. The home is set in a beautiful location surrounded by fields, a wooded area and well cared for gardens. My sister has a lovely spacious room,
the communal rooms are large as are the corridors making it easy for residents to move around especially those in wheelchairs. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, well mannered and helpful. The home is well organised, clean, tidy with excellent facilities and good value for money.

Recently, my brother had to urgently move from his previous care home. I decided on Ravendale Hall as his new home and I have not been disappointed in my choice. I was concerned that the move would unsettle him and have an adverse effect on his health. I need not have worried. The staff and managers
went out of their way to ensure they quickly got to know him, so they could respond to his needs. All staff and managers are friendly and caring and give me a warm welcome when I visit. They go the extra mile to ensure my brother is happy and settled, and regularly update me about his progress. Ravendale Hall is not just a business, but a home from home as well.
