This is a top quality care home. All the staff are very friendly, extremely caring and treat all the residents with respect, patience and above all loving care. Nothing is too much trouble and they welcome visitors at all times. If a resident is in need of medical care immediate action is taken to ensure
that professional help from emergency services or doctors is sought. Trouble is taken to provide residents with entertainment and activities to make their stay enjoyable and comfortable. All physical needs are met with kindness, patience and respect. This is a lovely care home and helps to put relatives' minds at ease knowing their loved ones are cared for.

I can visit my aunt whenever I wish, and whatever time of day I do visit, I find the same level of care being given. The staff always make time to answer any questions I may have and they show a great understanding of my aunt's needs, always willing to discuss any care needs I feel she may have and
working out ways to fulfil these. The general ambience is always calm and friendly, and I feel secure that she is being well looked after.

The staff at Orchard Court made the transition of moving our dear friend into care run as smoothly as possible. It was not straight forward as our friend's condition deteriorated quickly. They were very supportive to our friend and us too. Nothing was too much trouble.
They have so much patience with
the residents and family and friends at all times, no matter what their workload is at that moment. It is like an extended family.
Everywhere in the home is clean, tidy and organised. The food is wonderful. I have been into many care homes with various members of my family and Orchard Court is the best by far.

Since placing my mum into Orchard Court she is the happiest I have ever seen her! What I thought would be a difficult decision has been made so much easier by the care and support from the Manager, Deputy Manager and ALL the staff who have gone out of their way to welcome mum into her new home.
They have both supported Mum and myself and I know I made the right decision. They make my feel very welcome when I visit.


The staff show every single resident respect, dignity and empathy and no one is treated any differently to each other. Everything about the home is warm and welcoming and the standard of care is exceptional.


The food is absolutely outstanding and every meal is home made. Mum is offered different healthy menu choices daily for each meal.


My mum has vascular dementia but the Activities Co-ordinator is always finding new interesting and challenging activities for mum to take part in and mum looks forward to these.


So glad I chose Orchard Court for Mum.

My Nan has lived in Orchard Court for 6 months and from the moment she moved in we have been pleased with the level of care which she receives. She is checked frequently throughout the day and night.
The staff are always attentive to her personal and emotional care which gives us a great peace of
mind. There is a happy and caring atmosphere in the home and you are always made to feel welcome whenever you visit. The amount of varied and stimulating activities which the home put on is very impressive.

My father is a resident of Orchard Court and he is treated with the upmost dignity and respect. The home is well looked after, clean and very much home from home. My dad is happy, safe and very well looked after.
The manager is absolutely wonderful with him. I have peace of mind that when I leave
he is treated with love and dignity. I searched long and hard for a small private care home that met all of my dads needs and I can tell you with my hand on my heart that I found everything I was looking for in Orchard Court. Ten out of ten every time.

Very friendly and caring atmosphere to this home with plenty of laughter, smiles and comforting style from carers to residents. Food is freshly cooked with a choice of menu, communal rooms are always clean with room to sit and watch television or play games. Friendly approach to visitors from the carers
and nothing seems too much to ask either by residents or visitors. Visitors are welcome to join in with the activities which is comforting and reassuring for both residents and their visitors. I am extremely happy with the care shown to my mother here and the love and friendliness shown both to her and to me.

Great care home for your loved ones for day care, respite or full time care, my sister in law has been part of the family there since last August, I say family because the management and staff are so professional in the way they delivered the care and support for my sister in law and the support they
gave to my wife and I has been outstanding, sadly my sister in law passed away on Friday evening so that is why I feel this review is appropriate for me to write in memory of the time she spent there. Thank you so much Orchard Court.

The care provided goes beyond expectations, they truly care as well as take care of the residents. My sisters and I have already recommended it to friends and relatives which have been taken up. Both our parents are residents and have different needs and both are looked after and respected.

My grandma has been a resident at Orchard Court for some time now and she is very very happy with both the staff and its amenities in all aspects. They have helped make her life so much better on a day to day basis than before she moved here. She enjoys the activities and takes part in the sing along
and movie sessions as well as enjoying the friendliness of the other service users.


I am very happy with the manager and her team of excellent staff who provide every aspect of my grandma's daily needs however small or large they may be.


Thank you for making her life happier and for being there when we needed you.
