Gresham Lodge Care Centre is located in a quiet residential area of Scunthorpe and provides dementia care with a skilled care team who are dedicated to improving the lives of those living with various forms of dementia, including Alzheimer's.

The home has spacious, well-appointed and tastefully decorated rooms throughout, which have been designed to provide comfortable and convenient living spaces for all residents. Many of the rooms overlook the garden and have their own patio area. The home has been extensively modified and optimised to help those with dementia enjoy a relaxed, safe and easy to navigate living experience.

Staff at the home are experienced in providing dementia care and receive regular, on-going training and support to further their experience and qualifications in caring for residents with respect, dignity and understanding.

Activities at the home are designed specifically for those living with dementia. The home has a large landscaped garden at the rear where residents can get involved gardening the flower beds or growing plants in the greenhouse or simply enjoy the outdoors with complete safety and security.

The home is easily accessible from Scunthorpe which itself has excellent motorway and rail travel links.

I am so pleased we chose this home for our mum the staff are friendly and go above and beyond their role to look after her. The home is of an excellent standard and I like the fact that the owner's wife is very hands on with the residents this is a very homely residence.

My nana is going into Gresham Lodge was my first experience of care home. During her time there I have been nothing but impressed with the love and care which is shown to all residents.


There is a fantastic range of activities and the staff do all they can to ensure the resident's needs are met.

My Mum has been in Gresham Lodge for 4 weeks. Her time there has been very good. She has been a resident since being discharged from hospital for rehabilitation. She has been well looked after and cared for. Each day she has improved more. The food is excellent with a varied selection daily. The staff
are lovely and always have time for her. As a daughter, I was happy to leave her in their competent care.

Having got over the shock of having to put Dad into a care home, we were advised on Gresham Lodge. Dad went in from the hospital and after a shaky start he has picked up. The staff are really good and Dad is eating better. Haven't rated value for money because I believe all care homes are overpriced
and shouldn't be allowed to charge such high prices. This care home is small, so suits us as it's more personal.
