Norwood House supported the entire family when keeping our mother in her own home no longer became possible. Norwood House has made us, and more importantly my mother, feel part of a larger, close-knit family. My mother has been treated with dignity and respect at all times. Her individual needs
have all been met and solutions found. We cannot thank Norwood House enough in all they have done to look after her and take care of her and all her needs. My siblings and I can relax knowing she is in good hands. Special event evenings and wonderful afternoon teas keep the house vibrant and the gardens are exceptional.

My dad's transfer from his own home to Norwood House couldn't have gone better. The staff welcomed him well and he warmed immediately to the wonderful, friendly, homely, caring environment of the home. The themed corridors within the home are excellent. I have never seen the interactive approach used
in any other home. Dad loves his room, the food and the care and attention he receives. He has a named carer (key worker) who looks after his every need, plus all his family are welcome and included in every aspect of his new life at Norwood House.

The home has a very open, friendly and caring environment. I always felt welcome and comfortable whenever I visited. The staff were always very attentive and courteous towards my father as they were friends as well as his carers. They made the last few months of his life very comfortable and happy for
which I will be forever grateful.
I wish the home all the best... keep up the great work "team Norwood"!

Following an unexpectedly long stay in a hospital, I had the dubious task of finding a care home for my mother and luckily came across Norwood House, following a recommendation from a friend. As soon as I walked in, it felt like a home from home. It is a clean, friendly, cosy home, set in a tranquil
and a beautiful setting. The home manager is an angel and the rest of the team are close behind. Nothing is too much trouble, every need is catered for and everyone who lives there is treated with respect and dignity and encouraged to be as independent as possible. This certainly is the resident's home and the staff are there to help and care where needed. My mum has been there a year now and feels very much part of the Norwood family. It is her home and she is thriving.

My grandmother had a long stay in hospital before arriving at Norwood House, we wanted to find somewhere relaxing and homely for her to live in, as it wasn't possible for many reasons for her to return home. We visited the home and met with staff there, who were kind, compassionate and knowledgeable.
We really liked the layout at Norwood House, which is modern, spacious and very clean. Residents can have their own furniture and items in their room, however, if they wish.

My grandmother has made such a good recovery since being at Norwood House, she is more confident and I know she is very well looked after there, which is such peace of mind. When we visit, we can book in for a meal at the home, which is important to us, as my grandmother was always a real hostess and this is a good way for us to spend quality time with her, and the food really is delicious! I feel Norwood House is a luxury care home of very high standards, and I have been very impressed with the care received.

My father has been a resident in Norwood House for over two years and is very content. He has a lovely room with beautiful views. The level of care is exemplary. All the staff are both professional, kind, and always willing to go the extra mile. The home is run extremely well and we have been impressed
with every aspect. The management team have attended admirably and in a timely fashion to all my father's requirements. Support during difficult times has been excellent. Problems have been resolved sensibly. I would have no hesitations in recommending the home to my friends and loved ones.

Mum has recently moved into Norwood House and she insists it is the best thing she has ever done. She gets pampered regularly, the team leaders are brilliant, the carers are exceptional, and the manager is just fantastic. The whole team are just wonderful. The ambience within the home is so calm and
comfortable, there is just such a great feel to the home. Thumbs up!!!
Thank you, everyone, at Norwood House for making mum so happy.

The treatment that was given to my father was caring, generous, professional and very helpful to dad and me as a family member when the end was near. The staff had got to know dad and had a rapport with him. He became very close to all the staff and had a laugh at most times with members of the team.
He was sometimes very stubborn but they knew exactly how to get the best out of him. I want so say that the manager was more than just a manager but a very caring and considerate member of this home. I thank them for the care they gave to dad at the time he was here.

This care home has gone from strength to strength over the past year. This is due to a new Manager and management initiatives, willingness of the owner to spend money to improve the facilities, and new staff who are making a difference.

It is nice to go into the home and see the staff interacting

with the residents, and keeping them active.

There is still more money being spent at present. For example a new Sensory Garden is being built, which I presume will be ready for residents use in the spring.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks
