Thank you for your comments, we always welcome feedback. We strive to continually improve our care and we are glad that you have had a largely positive experience with us. At The Granby, we love our food. We firmly believe that when you eat well, you live well too. This is a core part of our brighterkind philosophy of care, centering on good nutrition and the importance of mealtimes as a social occasion. Our chef strives to prepare restaurant-style meals combining variety with a balanced diet and an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients. Our residents get involved in helping to plan our menus too. Our dining rooms are always hubs of conversation and laughter during mealtimes. As a Home Manager I always strive to respond promptly to emails and operate an open door policy. Thank you for your comments. We always welcome feedback as we continually strive to improve our care. We are delighted to be undertaking a full refurbishment of The Granby. Our investment will see this home completely refitted and remodelled to create a very special environment for our residents and their families. As well as a complete refurbishment of all our bedrooms and common areas, we will also be installing an enlarged lift, refurbishing the crystal ballroom and creating new areas such as a wellness spa and cup and saucer café. We also recently opened our new cinema room for residents to enjoy their favourite films. If you would like to discuss any issues further, you are welcome to contact me any time.

Ruby graduated with a BS in Nursing Degree in 2000. She began as a nurse in United Arab Emirates working in the private medical team for the president. In 2004, she returned to Lebanon as a nurse in the accident and emergency department before becoming Deputy Nurse Manager and being trained in advanced nursing diagnostics. In 2009, she got a job with one of the best Ophthalmology surgeons in Lebanon. She managed three clinics as well as assisting in surgeries, and diagnostic procedures. In 2017, she obtained a CELTA, which enabled her to work as a school nurse and an English teacher before she moved to the UK.
Ruby is a proud mother of two girls and enjoys reading, studying languages and acapella choir singing in her spare time. Words of encouragement from Ruby for someone looking for the right care home would be: “The most important thing is having a thorough initial assessment to determine the needs of the resident which is essential for choosing the right care home.”
