I have to express my thanks to all staff. My mam after 86 years had a fall, went into hospital then unfortunately had to go into care, which was a really difficult time. The staff and that is everyone have been so understanding making sure her care was put into place, always with a smile and excellent
encouragement as my mother has lost her nerve walking after the fall. The staff have gone out of their way to support me as well. Giving a phone call and a update at all time on many occasions. Nothing has been a problem to solve, again I feel my mam is in safe hands. Thanks a million.

We were very concerned about where dad went but all of the staff at St Annes Care Home welcomed all of us and made things exceptionally easy and made dad feel comfortable straight away.
He feels already at home which is extra important for us as family. Ongoing treatment has been instant and we all

My sister moved into St Annes in March 2023. This was arranged over a weekend and has proven to be a good decision. Located on the lovely frontage of Whitley Bay my sisters room looks onto the promenade. Easy access to fresh air and connection with the community.
A warm welcome and lots of smiles are
offered by staff at all times which generates a caring and sensitive and friendly approach to the elderly through all levels of the organization.
Cleanliness of the fabric is clean and tidy and to a reasonable standard with improvements managed on a rolling programme. Individual residents rooms are cleaned regularly and although of modest standards access to shower/bath facilities are available. Lift provision could be improved. Lounges offer choices to residents for social activities or to simply relax and chat.
A variety of activities is on offer to all able residents and the Christmas celebrations is well attended. Live entertainment is part of the fun. My sister is content.

We sought a respite place for mother that would meet her needs. We were delighted from the outset at the quality of care in all it's diverse dimensions. Staff were always very good humored in dealing with the various demands of our mother. Feedback and information for family was first class and reassuring.
We were concerned about medication and health but knew we were leaving mum in very good hands. We would recommend this home to anybody and would not hesitate to return mum to their care in the future.

The communication I've had from staff is amazing and they are always willing to help, no matter what it is.

Mum settled in quickly and I am impressed with how safe St Annes Care Home feels and how welcome we are made as visitors. My godmother was moved to St Anne's directly from the hospital. A care home was not her first choice and she had been determined to stay at home for as long as possible. However, she has been a resident for about 2 months now and she is the happiest I have seen her in years. She obviously loves the
staff who are really friendly and kind and she now has people to socialise with and is well cared for. It has been a very happy and successful move.

I was dreading what Mum’s reaction would be when she was taken to a care home as she had always been very resistant to the idea. I needn’t have worried; however, the deputy manager put her at ease immediately.
The room Mum was allocated is on the top floor and has great views of the sea, which is directly
across the road. She loves watching the waves and finds it quite therapeutic.
St Anne’s provides safe, secure accommodation in a pleasant environment and is run by wonderful, friendly staff who genuinely care about their residents.
Whenever we visit, Mum always appears happy and content, and the lovely relationship she has with the carers is evident.

We moved my mother-in-law into St Annes a couple of days ago and cannot praise the place enough.
We haven't had the best experience with care homes so far, so to find somewhere so lovely has been a huge relief. One member of staff welcomed my mother-in-law so kindly and thoughtfully and was so reassuring.
Every one of the many staff we saw gave a brilliant impression; they were kind and so nice. There are lots of activities and plenty to keep residents busy, as well as a plentiful supply of tea and biscuits!
The room itself is small but has everything needed and was spotlessly clean. The lovely staff member who appeared to help unpack and help label clothes was wonderful and made the process so easy. Communication has been great, and you really feel like the staff care. We are so pleased we found somewhere so perfect for my mother-in-law.

We have been delighted by the care the staff are giving my mother. She went into St Annes as an emergency, just before Christmas, initially as a temporary resident. The staff are incredibly caring and understanding and act immediately if they see any problem. We love the pids in the front garden, which

Outstanding care and attention paid. Great empathy and understanding and I'm constantly kept up to date on my mother's condition, her situation and advised of any falls she's had. In terms of medical care the care home has a structured and reliable method. Whether it's calling on other healthcare professionals
such as nurses, doctors or calling in paramedics when needed. I feel confident in my mother's safety and care which is all you can ask of a care home. Well done St Annes .

From start to finish, the staff were absolutely amazing. Even though they were undergoing lots of decorating, the residents were put first every time. Dad settled straight away, and as it was for two weeks of respite, his needs at this time were all met.
Food was fab too, and all resident's individual
requirements were carried out. All members of staff were approachable and happy to help at any time.
Now that we're home, Dad has to let you know the food and care were excellent. Thank you.
