Very friendly atmosphere. Lovely food. The cleanliness is excellent. Very supportive and helpful staff. Security excellent, the door being assisted by staff. The rooms and bathrooms are very nice and very clean.

My family and I are extremely happy with the care given to my uncle. The staff are professional in their duties but also show a great deal of empathy, friendship and understanding towards my uncle. The staff's manner and attitude are a credit to them and to Palmersdene.

I visit my sister on a weekly basis. I find that all of the staff at each visit which lasts about an hour caring and very hard working. Every resident is treated with the same dignity and care possible.
Every duty that the staff do is the same for all the residents. I chode Palmersdene from a number
of residential homes I am very pleased that I chose the right place.

When you come to the care home the management and staff are very friendly, helpful and make you welcome. The standards of their care are excellent for my mum. As a family we are over the moon that we picked Palmersdene care home in Jarrow for the care my mum is having and we would recommend it to everyone.

My mother is well taken care of carefully and with dignity. My only reservation is a lack of activities rather than just sitting in a chair all day.
Otherwise, very satisfied with care and carers.

Thank you for your feedback. Historically most of our activities have taken place in the afternoon, to allow more residents to be involved after their morning routine. However, we have also increased staff in the last week so more activities can take place during a morning as well as an afternoon. I will be happy to discuss our activities calendar with you during your next visit.

Standard is very good and staff very helpful. Good at getting medical help when needed. Care home is nice and warm and comfortable, with nicely set tables for dinner. Could do with extra carers.
