This is an immaculate home. The care Mam receives is second to none and we can't thank the staff enough. The staff are amazing. Mam is settled and happy. Activities are always readily available. The care not only applies to Mam, but they are also fantastic with the family too and nothing is of bother
to them. We are always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. Thank you, Glenholme House. You should be proud of yourselves, each and every one of you.

My mam was only with you for a short time, as she was poorly and sadly passed away, but we can't thank you enough for the care she was given while she was with you. The kindness was also extended to the rest of our family, as well; your staff are so thoughtful - you should all be proud of yourselves.
As a family, we can only thank you from the bottom of our hearts, as you made what was a heartbreaking time for us more bearable. God Bless.

Excellent care home, lots of activities for the residents and lovely home-cooked food. Very pleasant, well-maintained gardens to the rear. Friendly committed staff who always work hard. No negatives to speak about.

Mam moved to Glenholme House in December 2020 and though the circumstances enforced by Covid made visiting difficult, the family was still involved in all decisions, however minor, involving Mam's care. She settled immediately, not least due to receiving the best of care from cheerful, motivated and
friendly staff who continue to go the extra mile to make her comfortable and safe.

My mam is very well looked after, nothing is too much trouble for the amazing staff at Glenholme, always kept updated as to Mam's welfare, mam is very happy there, always laughing, singing and dancing.
There is always something happening - a good variety of activities that are updated on Facebook which
keeps me updated when I am unable to visit.
Would definitely recommend.

My aunt arrived at Glenhome House in December 2021. Her state of health was poor and it was important she moved to a safe and secure place where she was genuinely cared for. You never really know until someone has been there for a while so nearly one year down the line, I can safely say her quality
of life has improved immensely. She is well looked after by staff who really do care about her and spend time even though they have busy roles - they know part of their job is to give attention and share a story or joke. The management team do a great job and try hard to keep on top of my aunt's many ailments and medications. Sometimes they could provide more timely updates as I can get these from my aunt first and these can sound more dramatic than needed! The fees are expensive but I know running costs are high. That said, I always feel the care and attention she receives are genuine and heartfelt which is so important as I live a fair distance away. Keep up the good work team!

I have found the home amazing. My dad is occupied and has made lots of new friends. My dad sleeps all night. The activities are amazing, they are shared on Facebook, which is extra amazing, so we can share with family. My dad always appears clean, well dressed and calm. My only concern is the disappearance
of his new 2021 watch. I have had no official feedback from this loss. I also do not agree with Dad's continence assessment and would like to speak to someone.

Dad has loved his time at Glenholme House. The staff are extremely kind, professional and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and they always keep us updated with Dad's health issues. During my visits to Glenholme over the last 2 years, I've grown increasingly impressed at the standards of care provided. The home is clean and comfortable with generously spaced lounge and dining areas and attractive outdoor seating. On talking to my relative who's a resident, and gradually getting
to know some of the carers who are very patient, kind and supportive, his needs are well catered for, and he regularly reassures me he's content to be there. I'm prompted to write this review because of the high standards I've observed recently. When I've called the door in-person staff are consistently Covid conscious. The Covid visitor's room which the home has had installed is light, bright and well designed, protecting both resident and visitor. Staff are always helpful and cheerful when I ring to book a visiting slot, and my family member has always been well prepared for my visit and helped in and out of the conservatory with patience, care and a sense of humour. Thanks, Glenholme.

My father has not been well due to heart failure and ongoing vascular dementia, but the staff at Glenholme have taken the utmost care of dad in a professional, sensitive and caring manner. The communication channels are excellent which has allowed me to keep in touch with dad and for him to feel connected
to us. The staff have constantly updated us at every opportunity and helped me too. It is a true family at Glenholme. Thank you is so inadequate.

Staff are extremely helpful and attentive to the needs of my mum. Carers keep me informed on all important aspects of mum's well-being especially valued during Corona Virus lockdown. We've been unable to visit for 5 months but I have received several kind and reassuring messages telling us mum is still
well, safe and happy. They always make time for me when I call on the phone even though they are very busy. Thank you.

Glenholme staff are very welcoming, efficient and caring. They have a good ratio of staff to residents. The staff are always helpful and accessible. The communal areas are very pleasant, attractive and kept extremely clean.
The garden area is very well tended and adds to the pleasantness of the home.
There is a lift and also a stairlift to the bedrooms.

I couldn't be happier with the care Glenhole House provide for my father. He is always treated with dignity and respect, and I always feel there is genuine affection for him.
As his condition deteriorates, and his needs become more complex, the home goes the extra mile to see that these are met and

My mother has been in Glenholme for over one year; the care she receives is excellent. All of the carers do an amazing job, and it is comforting to know that she is safe and cared for to a very high standard. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff, my mother often won't eat some of the meals
provided, but carers go out of their way making her toasties, sandwiches or cheese and crackers at her request. All the residents are washed/bathed regularly and look impeccable. The home is spotless, and all the staff are very friendly.

Natasha Peebles

Job Title: Home Manager

Joined: 2016

Natasha's journey with Wellburn began at Glenholme House Care Home as a Care Assistant in April 2016 and quickly earning a promotion to Team Leader in November 2016. Her leadership qualities shone through, leading to her promotion to Deputy Manager in December 2021, acting Home Manager in July 2022, and ultimately becoming Home Manager of Glenholme in November 2022.


Natasha holds a Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care and is enrolling in the Level 5 NVQ.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Joined: 2022

Adam's journey at Wellburn Care Homes began with us in July 2022 at Glenholme House Care Home, starting as a Night Shift Team Leader. His dedication quickly earned him a promotion to Deputy Manager in January 2023.


With over 10 years of experience in health and social care, Adam brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to his role. He holds a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care and is currently enrolling in the Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care.


Adam is also the end-of-life champion for Glenholme House Care Home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support during the most critical times.
