Primrose Care Home is a lovely care home with the best staff ever. They all go above and beyond to ensure all the residents are looked after and entertained as much as is possible. We have three family members in the home and visiting is always a pleasure.

Since coming into Primrose Care Home my nanna has deteriorated in health due to Alzheimer's. However, the staff and management at Primrose Care Home have done very well catering to her needs as she has changed.

Hi, my staff assure me they are meeting the care needs of all individuals whom we offer residential care to and with 2 care staff 1 senior, an activities coordinator and a floating care shift on each day, I do not feel anymore is needed currently. However, this is evaluated on a weekly basis as residency goes up so does my staffing to meet the needs. Unfortunately, everyone would like 1-1 care, however, funding for this is extremely hard criteria to meet. As always you know where I am to assist with any queries or concerns.

I have found this home extremely friendly and accommodating. Food is excellent, carers willing to help residents at every turn. The only criticism is I think there should be more staff. There are only 2 carers and a senior therefore it means if a resident needs the toilet or a bath it often takes 2
carers which leaves only 1 for the rest of the residents.
However, that in my mind is not enough cover although I think probably the ratio is probably the same in all homes.

Hi, I appreciate you feel as though we need more staff, however, we also have an activities coordinator on site for the full day and a carer who comes on for half a shift either AM or PM dependent on the needs of the home. My staff assure me they feel staffed enough to cope and unfortunately, we cannot be there for everyone immediately as this is a residential care home not offering 1-1 support. As always you know where I am if needed and I will help find a solution if possible.

Primose is like home from home with residents and their families. So caring, friendly and supportive. Their jobs are sometimes really challenging but they all are a credit to the work they do. Their activities team are great, with outings for the residents, daily sessions of different activities. It
is a privilege for me to have my Mam looked after there, also she has settled in really well and likes being there, which is the most important thing to me. We couldn't have been offered a better place.

The activities they do with the residents are brilliant.

My partner was in Primrose care home for a weekend's respite. The care she received was second to none. Nothing was too much bother for any of the staff. I am that pleased with the care provided that I am hoping to make it her regular respite place. The home is clean, tidy and very well maintained.
All staff and the manager should be proud of the work they are doing.

My mam was placed in Primrose Care Home in December 2017. The home is very pleasant and staff are friendly. If was in a good location for us to visit., The food is very good. It has a lovely friendly atmosphere every time we go in. The only thing I would say is they could do with more staff as the staff
have a lot on their hands.

I always found Primrose Care Home to be warm, friendly and homely. My mam spent over 3 years here and she was well-looked after. The manager and her staff were always very friendly and would help in any way possible. They all became part of my mam's family and I am so grateful for their love and support.
I would recommend Primrose to anyone looking for respite or their permanent home.

Wonderful place, staff are spot on with everything, staff support friends and family. My mam was well looked after from the day she moved into Primrose Care Home. Meals are well served and presented, the new manager is always willing to help when she can for family's and friends. Lovely staff and they

The staff at the care home are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. Since the new manager took over, the improvements to the home have been fantastic. The staff treat the residents as if they are their own family members.
