After many poor experiences with respite homes, Clayton House has been exceptional looking after my mum for two weeks respite. My mam is 100% better after two weeks of respite, thanks to the excellent, caring staff and management of Clayton House. My mama was full of praise for the staff. I will have
no hesitation using Clayton House again when my mum needs respite. Thanks so much for giving me reassurance and a well-needed break. Absolute five-star care home. My mama can’t wait to come back. You are a credit to the care sector.

I would like to thank you sincerely for taking the time to leave us such a kind message, and I am so pleased that you and your relative had such a positive experience during your stay. We understand how a respite stay can seem daunting for a prospective resident, and we are very happy that you could help us to welcome your relative for the time that they spent with us. Our staff very much enjoyed the company of your mum, and we would be extremely happy to have her visit again whenever it is convenient for you and for her. In the meanwhile, I send the best wishes of all of the staff to you and your family.

Both my parents went into Clayton House in March 2018. At first, I was very unsure about this as both my parents did not really want to spend their latter years in a care home. I could not have been so wrong. The staff here are unreal, in the best of ways. They made my parents feel 'at home' and also
me and my wife. Nothing was too much trouble for them to do. Having lost my Father in July, again the staff were great and helped in any way they could. Mam lasted till December and sadly passed. They went totally out of their way to help/Assist me in any way they could. It would be impossible for me to name certain staff that helped more than others because in my eyes they ALL helped in every way they could. This is a fantastic place for anyone that has to place loved ones in care. I would not hesitate if I had the chance again with my parents to have them in here.

Our experience since using Clayton House for our mum's care has been first class, from the day she went in, to the day she died. Even after her death, they looked after us. The home is just that, homely and warm, the home is clean and the rooms are big enough for what a person needs, even some rooms
big enough for a couple. Personal belongings can be put in their rooms to have memories all around them. My mum was kept clean, a Dr would be called as soon as they were asked. The whole staff were all very caring. After nearly four years it was a family. The help the staff gave was more than 100%. The love and care at the end of mum's life was so kind, we couldn't have wished for more understanding and lots of hugs.

My mam went to Clayton House at Saltburn for respite after having a bad water infection, the staff at this care home couldn't do enough for her, quickly helping her to settle in and feel totally comfortable in her new surroundings nothing was to much trouble. They helped my mam regain confidence she
had lost making it easier to return home, however, if in the future she is to need their help again they have made it very clear they will endeavour to help, which is very reassuring for myself and my sister.
