Parkville Care Centre is a ninety-four bedroom care centre located in Middlesborough, that combines a comfortable and charming setting with the skills of professional and dedicated nurses and carers.

The centre now boasts the prestige groups 1st Auguste community. A 37-bed specialist nursing community for people living with dementia or related illness requiring nursing type care and treatment in a purpose-built setting.

The centre also offers both residential and residential dementia caring across two separate floors in the larger main building

The whole centre has benefited from a substantial £75k input of finances specifically designed to lift the entire Parkville environment and which has also been used to completely redesign, to specific evidence-based criteria, the modern, safe and inclusive nursing centre

The nursing unit has RGN and RMN clinical leads both day and nights.

The Care Centre is further benefiting from a partnership with 'Oomph', the activities and occupations charity and the community and the residential setting now have a Tovertafel magic table, a mobile snoezelen centre and the latest Sentes bathing experience.

With full wi-fi availability and FUSION care plan systems this is the care centre for all needs

The new wellbeing - coordinators are now in place and a menu using the Caroline Walker Trust guidelines, the centre is benefiting from a new direction under the expert leadership of the new CQC registered manager.

I find Parkville Care Centre to be very welcoming. The staff are absolutely brilliant. I have yet to see one member of staff uncaring. They always are willing to help anyone in any way. It is also a happy place to be. One can enjoy activities with the staff and the other residents and I feel safe which
means a lot, also knowing I can go to any of the staff at any time if I need anything.

My uncle’s experience of Parkville was very poor. The restrictions of this review site do not allow me to go into detail however I would encourage people to research the home thoroughly, including CQC reports, before deciding if this home is the right one for their vulnerable relatives.

I find that my mother is well looked after respected and cared for, she says meals are good and satisfying. The rooms are bright and cheerful and comfortable. The activities are good and entertaining.

I was recommended for my husband to go to Parkville Care Centre for his respite, hopefully leading up to full time. Up to this moment in time, I would not like him to go anywhere else.
In the past, we have tried a few places and not any of them comes close to the detail of what this home does. Look

My experience of this care home. Firstly, everyone in the care home treats you with courtesy and there is often fun and laughter throughout. You can talk to staff in confidence, knowing what you say will not be open to all and sundry. The home is very clean and the laundry is washed and ironed. Meals
are wholesome and there is plenty of choice. Management are easy to get on with and approachable at all times. I would recommend the home to anyone.

The staff are amazing, they tend to all my father's needs and nothing is too much trouble.
My dad is always clean and well dressed. The food is excellent and I cannot fault the place. I would recommend it to anyone.

Having visited a number of dementia nursing establishments in the area, it was with a feeling of great relief when we found Parkville Care Centre.
Everything about the centre is five star from the individually designed bedrooms and colour coordination to the level of care exercised by qualified nursing
and care staff.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the centre for your loved one from my experience.

I have over two decades of dedicated service in the NHS and private sector I am excited to bring my extensive experience, compassionate leadership, and innovative approach to Parkville Care Centre My career has been driven by a steadfast commitment to providing the highest standards of care, fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff, and continually improving the quality of life for those in my care.


Throughout my 20+ years, I have worked in different areas, each with unique challenges and opportunities. My leadership style is rooted in empathy, transparency, and a hands-on approach, ensuring that every resident receives personalized care tailored to their specific needs. I believe in creating a home-like atmosphere where residents feel valued, respected, and part of a community and this leadership style coupled with the values of prestige care can only be an asset.


I have a proven track record of maintaining and exceeding regulatory standards, achieving excellent ratings from regulatory bodies. My attention to detail and commitment to best practices have ensured that the homes under my management are recognized for their quality care and compliance. As a nurse myself I wish to enrich the staffing team to promote excellent standards for our residents.
