Anchor's Millbeck in Norton is a purpose-built home supporting up to 30 older people to live a comfortable lifestyle. The home is situated a short distance away from local shops and amenities, within a leafy village setting and continues to welcome new residents.

The home strives to deliver a range of residential care services, including respite care and long-term care for those who can no longer look after themselves. Millbeck also provides care for older people living with dementia.

The care team gets to know customers and work with them to organise wellness activities, which match individual and group interests, both in the care home as well as in the local community.

Each customer’s individual needs are regularly assessed to ensure their care plans meet their lifestyle requirements. Meals are cooked fresh, from locally sourced and seasonal ingredients where possible, and by highly trained chefs and kitchen staff.

Anchor is England’s largest provider of housing and care for those over 55 years of age and has 60 years of experience as a not-for-profit provider of services to older people.

They reinvest the money made into retirement properties and care homes, to continually raise standards to provide a high-quality service to surpass the customer’s expectations.

There are not enough words to say how much our family appreciate all the love, care and compassion all members of staff showed to my Dad during the 6 years he lived at Millbeck and particularly during his final illness. They are a wonderful team and it's been a privilege knowing every one of them.

Mam has settled really well. The staff are attentive to her needs and she enjoys her time at Millbeck. Activities happen each week and mam enjoys the activities. The staff are always available to discuss mam's care and nothing is too much for them. We as a family are really happy that mam is happy and

Our friend has been in Millbeck for a number of years now and we visit when able. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and pay our friend attention and check on her needs when they come into the room, she always has praise for the staff and their care as well as the food choice and seems very

My mam came into Millbeck from a hospital admission of frequent UTI's. It was a hard decision to make at the time due to COVID and not allowing visitors. However, the staff at Millbeck made this easy due to the care and love shown to settled her in. Staff ensured I got regular video calls with my mam.
My mam enjoyed activities and sitting with other residents. She enjoyed her time in Millbeck and made some great friends.

This is a professionally run care home where staff go the extra mile to make the residents feel at home and comfortable. My mum is not only an old lady but has also lost her sight. It is amazing how all care staff have helped with her needs. As a family, we are delighted with the care Mum gets. All
the staff, from the manager, team leaders, carers, cooks and cleaners are lovely.

We cannot fault Milbeck Care Home in Norton for their care of my mam. Nothing is a problem to them, the staff have an amazing rapport with my mam which shows when we visit. The entertainment during lockdown was amazing, which allowed her family, who are key workers, to continue working throughout the

This has been a strange year due to Covid. Millbeck has been amazing they have gone above and beyond to keep our families safe. We have had video calls, video messages of all the lovely activities the residents have been doing. All the staff are so caring, they are all our extended family. Rooms, food
and all the facilities are 100%. My mam is so happy living at Millbeck.

My mam is a resident at Millbeck and has been there for a year. The staff are truly caring and wonderful. We went back for Mams birthday in October (we live away) and were overwhelmed with how well and happy she was. A birthday meal was put on for her and the family. It was so lovely. The staff go above

A fantastic team. I could not wish for my Grandma to be in better care. As we struggle through COVID-19, the thought of the carers has been unbelievable. They have video messaged us so that my Grandma can speak to us and see us, which to me, is above and beyond their line of work, especially now as

I like Millbeck because the staff are very polite and helpful. Also, I like how your staff change shift because there is always somebody on the floor. The last place my mother was in, they all changed over at the same time, leaving nobody on the floor which is a bad idea. Keep up the good work. People
must sign in and out - you must get the staff to tell people because some people forget. Also, is there a camera above the main entrance?
