Situated In the Oxbridge area of Stockton On Tees, Park House Rest Home is a small family run care home offering residential and residential dementia care while maintaining a homely environment, the home is within walking distance of Ropner Park.

I became a resident here after my Neice found this place for me to have 2 weeks respite care but realised how at home I felt I knew I needed help which could increase. The staff and food is everything a person could possibly need is here. Even entertainment is available and lots of encouragement to
help us keep as active as possible - especially the words always given 'nothing is impossible' to our requirements even during the night. Perfection for me.

I cannot praise Park House and the staff enough. I was so worried and upset at the thought of my 92-year-old mum having to go into care but the moment I walked through the door and Park House I immediately felt the wonderful atmosphere. The staff will do anything for my mum (and us). Mum has settled
so well and is so happy. All the residents know me now too. They are always busy with activities. To know my mam is so well cared for is so reassuring. I can't thank the management and staff enough.

I came home from Canada to see my mam settled into a care home. I was very uneasy about this, as it's not what my mam wants. I looked at many, and Park House was the best one that I liked. Mam has been there a month now, and the care she is getting is wonderful, the staff are marvellous. Mam is really
settled and I can now go back home to Canada knowing she is OK and getting the care she needs.

Mother became a resident at Park House in September 2017. I chose it because of the intimate homely atmosphere and seeing the positive interactions between residents and staff. All the staff are friendly, professional and supportive. There is a programme of weekly activities including all residents
which my mother greatly enjoys. I feel my mother has settled in very well. She is well cared for and I feel very fortunate that we were able to find such a comfortable, caring home.

It's nice. There is somebody there all the time. They get you up in the morning and get you dressed. They bring you downstairs for breakfast. They are great. The girls are nice. The food is nice. It is never cold outside.

My mum was only at Park house for 6 weeks before she passed away but she immediately felt at home and safe.
We found the staff very friendly and caring they are all extremely professional and well trained. The care and empathy they showed mum was exemplary and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Park
House.
The room was large and clean with all the necessary aids etc.
The home was well run and very efficient.

We visited care homes for my step-mum and were recommended to visit Park House. It stood out clearly as warm, caring and focussed on residents' wellbeing. After being there 4 months, her health is better. She is secure and feels cared for. The home doesn't feel institutional and yet the standard of
care and the environment couldn't be better. She has memory problems and can't remember names but never feels anything but respect and patience form those who look after her. I wouldn't want her to be anywhere else.

This is more than a care home, it's a home from home. You could not find better care anywhere. My uncle was loved and cherished, they made his last months happy. He said if I had known how good it was he would have gone in years ago.

Mum moved into Park House while she was recovering from a fall and with the onset of Alzheimer’s Disease. It was a tough decision for us to make as a family but it was the right one. We found the staff at Park House to be kind and caring for Mum – and also for us as a family, we are always made to feel
welcome and supported. You give Mum space to be herself but still encourage her to live in the community, joining in the activities. You are a genuine group of people and we have found no matter how busy and pressured you are, you make the people you are looking after your priority. There is always time for a word, a song, a touch, and a laugh. So thank you for all your care of our mum. We knew she was safe and well looked after.

Park House is an excellent rest home - clean, warm, bright and always welcoming to visitors. The residents are cared for by the wonderful staff with competence, humour and affection and each resident is treated with dignity and respect. The staff work very hard to create an atmosphere which is homely
and comfortable while encouraging residents, where possible, to participate in group activities and be involved in the daily life of the home. Alternatively, if residents prefer the privacy of their rooms, that is absolutely fine. Bedrooms are spacious and well appointed and the public areas: two day lounges, a separate small room for residents to receive visitors and dining room are pleasant and airy. Meals are tasty and varied. The staff are patient and kind and clearly care deeply about their work. I could not recommend Park House more highly.

Park House is excellent and caters for my mother's every need. The management and carers are kind and supported my mother through a number of health issues. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The home is kept clean at all times. The meals are also excellent. My mother has a very good friendly relationship
with both day and night staff and is happy and content and feels safe and secure.

When we were looking around for a residential care home, Park House was the only one in which we heard laughter and interaction between staff and residents. My mother has settled in really well. The staff are excellent, very friendly and caring. The home and rooms are spotlessly clean. The food and
