In response to your comment, we do have weekend visiting, albeit for families who live further afield, who can not visit through the week due to logistics. As the country begins to open up further, we will be able to change this policy. We can offer evening visits for families that work through the week, after completing an LFT test, you can be admitted into our beautiful residence, and be escorted into your loved ones private room, as unfortunately, visitors are still not allowed into communal areas. We have to implement these measures to keep our residents safe and protected, in line with IPC governance. Please feel free to contact myself if you seek further clarification and help or to arrange a visit.

Thank you for your kind words and recognition of the strange and difficult times we are working in. We work very hard to ensure all our residents receive the highest level of care and all feedback is greatly appreciated and helps us continually monitor how our service and care delivery is viewed by those who use the service. Your mum's 100th birthday was a wonderful occasion and enjoyed by all - it was a pleasure to see.
With regards to the issue with the room, I appreciate your understanding in this matter. Maintaining a Grade II Listed building that is 200yr old is almost a full-time job in itself, and we have a rolling program of decorating and improvement running all the time. We also work very hard at addressing any urgent maintenance matters in a manner that causes the least amount of disruption to our residents.
