My mother has had the best care possible. We have been very impressed with the staff caring and level of professionalism shown. They are very knowledgeable, friendly and always willing to help. We have great peace of mind that my mother is comfortable and receiving the help she requires.

In the current situation is difficult to fully appreciate the levels of care and understanding needed to be given by carers. What I can say is that the team at Acorn Grange have done their utmost to keep my father and other residents safe and cared for. I was extremely upset and concerned at the prospect
of my father being in lockdown for so long but he is well and settled when we do see him. He is happy and I believe, incredibly, he has not deteriorated as I and the rest of the family feared he would. I believe this to be down to the hard work and total dedication of the staff. For this I, my mam and sister are incredibly grateful. We are missing Dad so much and would love the opportunity to hug him or hold his hand but as this is not an option we can be in part reassured that he is well cared for both mentally and physically by the team. I believe the leadership of the home sets high standards and expectations which the staff deliver on.

All through these trying times, the staff have looked after my mam so very well. Despite the fact we cannot visit we are well informed about her welfare and health. They are working so hard to keep the residents' spirits up as well as keeping them healthy and safe.

I have been extremely happy with the care my husband has received at the home over the last three years.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and there is a nice feel about the place and effort is put in to provide stimulus which is very important.
I'm informed of his situation every month with
his personal plan and have input to any changes that may need to happen and my views and wishes are acted upon.
The food is also very good which is important when meals and snacks break up the day and my husband really enjoys his food and care is taken with his special diet.

Absolutely first class care home. Sister and brother-in-law have settled in really well. The staff go above and beyond to offer care and support making sure all their needs are met. Lovely home and lovely staff nothing is any trouble.

Mam and Dad are thriving in Acorn Grange and the staff and Management have been first class in their approach to the care of Mam and Dad and their smooth transition into care home life. Care, empathy and the passion shown by the Staff to all Residents speaks volumes for the Management structure in implementing

My mam and myself speak to my Aunty regularly and she is very happy with the care she is receiving. She gets on well with everyone.

The ordering of medication needs reviewing as extra painkillers are frequently needed. The staff are very caring and her choices are always accepted and catered for. The food is of very good quality that's mostly home-cooked and the quantity is efficient.

All staff that I encountered were very friendly introducing themselves by name. Environment was very becoming on entering the building, clean and tidy. The room my husband was allocated was very clean. Throughout my husband's stay, I was fully informed of any changes in condition and treatment and involved
with any decisions.

Acorn Grange has a very good atmosphere. It is clean and tidy. The management and staff are all pleasant and treat the residents with dignity and in a caring way.

My Mam has been a resident of Acorn Grange for almost one year. She settled in very quickly and is extremely happy. All members of staff are friendly, welcoming and professional - not only with residents but also visitors. My Mam is well fed enjoying all her meals. The social activities provided both
in Acorn Grange and day trips/excursions are top class. The staff deserve a Gold Medal!! Acorn Grange is providing my Mam a dignified and excellent quality of life.

My partner has Alzheimer's. I was unable to cope but reluctant to hand his care over to others. Initially, I worried but needn't have. He has settled well and all his needs are catered for. The staff have been very good to me too while I have been adjusting.

Both my aunty and my uncle reside at Acorn Grange. They are very elderly and need a lot of care. They receive bucket loads of things at Acron Grange. Their communication is excellent at all levels and they understand the needs of elderly, vulnerable residents. I have visited many times - the environment
is comfortable, secure and respectful.

My father has been a resident due to vascular dementia for 5 years now, the hardest decision you will ever make is to entrust your loved ones care to people you don't know. The guilt and sadness runs deep initially.
Now I have the utmost respect and confidence with all at Acorn Grange in West Cornforth.
In a recent choking incident my father could have easily died but for the quick thinking of the professional staff.
The communication to myself regarding my father's health, progress and well being, in general, is first class.

The staff at Acorn Grange do a fantastic job under daily pressure of caring for their residents who are extremely well cared for. They have varied activities for them daily and organise trips out. We, as a family, feel that this is a safe environment as all doors are keycoded so residents cannot go
on walkabout without carer's knowledge.
