I find all the staff in the care home very pleasant caring and helpful. It was lovely to see at Christmas the residents enjoying themselves with their relatives and staff ensuring everyone had a lovely time. In the summer it's lovely to see the residents sitting in the garden enjoying each other's company.

My mom has been in the home for quite a while now. It is a lovely home and my mom is well looked after. The staff are lovely and I can ask questions about my mom with no problem at all. Overall a lovely home.

Our mum became a resident of Langley Park nursing Home after suffering a severe stroke. The care and compassion shown by all the staff to her were second to none. This caring and compassionate support was extended to her family. We have great respect and gratitude for the hard-working team.

Last May I had to give in and admit my dad needed full-time care, it was one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make in my life which was made even harder because of covid and not being able to help settle dad into his new home. From day one, the staff have been amazing in helping him settle
in and keeping me informed when I wasn't allowed to visit. My dad loves living there and tells me all the time how happy he is. Over the last nine months, I have spent a lot of time there, and I can honestly say the care and support given to my dad has been first class. This care home is very well run with fantastic care staff, amazing food and plenty of activities for all. If I could give more stars, I would.

Hearing "your mum needs to go into a care home" were some of the hardest words I've had to hear. After my first Skype call, I was immediately put at ease. I could tell the staff care for the residents, they are all approachable and have helped put me at ease as I know they are meeting my mam's individual
needs. It has been difficult due to COVID, not being able to choose a suitable care home, the decision was taken from me, as I have not been able to look around, staff have used a video link to show me my mam's room as well as the rest of the Dementia Ward, explaining the reasoning behind the decoration. I ring my mam every day and I am given a weekly "home" update too. I feel everything is shared and discussed with me.

I am very happy with the care my mother receives here, the carers are excellent and couldn't be any more helpful. I'm kept up to date with weekly updates and contacted whenever they may have a concern with her health. There are regular activities arranged. They have been excellent throughout the pandemic
and recently reintroduced 'through the window' visits.

The carers could not be any more helpful. We are regularly kept up to date and have no concerns. My grandad has been involved with activities arranged and is happy and looking better in himself. They have been excellent throughout the pandemic and keep in touch at all times.

This is home is an outstanding establishment, they have kept my grandma amused during these trying times. The home put so many actions in place to keep both residents and visitors safe while we weren't allowed to visit.
It’s now been 1 year since seeing my gran in person and not once have I worried
as I know she is in safe hands
The staff are outstanding and this home deserves 10/10.

My mother spent the last three years of her life at Langley Park. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and her resulting dementia had become more difficult to manage when she came to Langley Park Care Home. From the start, I was impressed with the friendly atmosphere there, it felt like entering someone's
family home. All the staff were very helpful and kind, and nothing was too much trouble. Every member of staff has had dementia training, and that made a big difference to my mother's behaviour. They know how to look after patients with dementia, and my mother responded to that. They treated her with dignity and respect as they did all residents. They were also keen to promote information about dementia, and I learnt a lot from them in understanding this very troubling disease. My mother died in the home, and they made sure that I could say my goodbyes (being Covid restrictions). It was very peaceful and calm, thank you, Langley Park, for all your love and care.

My mother was a resident at Langley Park Care Home for several years. When she arrived she was suffering memory loss and mild dementia. Her dementia worsened over time. The carers at Langley Park gave her the best possible care throughout her stay. Not only was she well looked after physically
but members of staff were always on hand, in the lounges, the dining room and the meeting rooms chatting to the clients and making sure that they were happy and well-occupied and felt loved. The atmosphere in the home was always sunny and welcoming and as a visitor I never felt a nuisance but was always encouraged to come again and see my mother as often as I wanted. My mother loved to walk but as she aged getting her ready to go out became more and more challenging, but however busy were the staff they would always help me to get her ready for her outings. I can recommend Langley Park unreservedly.

I visited my grandma in the gardens of the care home for the first time since lockdown. The process was very smooth and safe. The staff were very friendly and interacted well with me and other residents. They also controlled the situation well, ensuring everyone kept 2m apart, and residents were kept
warm despite sitting in the garden. Can not fault them.

Meet Sarah Jones.
Sarah has been an integral part of Langley Park Care Home since December 2008, beginning her career as a carer after completing her college placements at the home. Over the years, Sarah has steadily advanced through various roles, including senior carer and deputy manager, before being appointed as care home manager in November 2020.


Her journey is a testament to her dedication, hard work, and passion for providing exceptional care. Along the way, Sarah earned her Level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care Management, giving her the skills and expertise to effectively manage and lead the team at Langley Park. Her deep understanding of the home, having worked in several capacities, allows her to create a warm, supportive environment for both residents and staff.
