I cannot express how amazing all the staff are in this care home, both my gran and grandad were both residents here for their final year of their life.
The staff went above and beyond to make them both feel at home and never let any of them go without anything.
My gran was a tough cookie who could
be offensive and sometimes rude without knowing it (I call it the no filter age, lol) anyway not one of the staff were ever offended and would always laugh and turn it into a joke. My gran loved every one of those girls and loved having a good laugh with them.
She always told me she felt very well looked after whilst there and also very safe.
Both my gran and grandad took their last breath in the care home instead of being in hospital and I want to thank each and every staff member for the love and support they both received during the final days, they were absolutely wonderful and I couldn’t have wished for better.
There was always someone there by their sides.
Amazing team.

Langley Park Care Home is cosy, clean and decorated beautifully with lots of colour and memorabilia to remind the people residing there of their past and make it feel like home. The staff are caring and helpful including carers, domestic and kitchen staff, they all contribute to the wellbeing of the
residents. The activities are excellent and the management are always on hand to give advice and support.

My nanna's been in several care homes throughout the years and this is by far the best! I’ve never met a team of people who care so much about their residents and do such a good job! Such a friendly team and they do an incredible job with all of the residents, couldn’t ask for anyone better to be caring

Outstanding home, always something going on for all residents, every member of staff deserves to be paid their worth, I know this role isn't an easy one, it's like one big family. Would not have my mam anywhere else she is so well looked after and her care and quality come 1st.

My mother came into the home in October 2019, where she still remains. Throughout this time the staff have been in regular contact with me, advising me as to my mother's health and well being. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. I am totally confident that my mum is receiving the best of care.

Our mother has been a resident now for nearly 4 years, sadly her dementia is in the latter stages now and needs more care than ever. My dad has been a resident in Langley Park Care Home for 18 months and during this time the care, compassion and kindness shown to my dad has been remarkable. The manager of the care home will go out of her way to ensure that family members are well informed of what is happening within the home, this
has been particularly evident over the last few months when lockdown has been in place, through creating a FaceBook page illustrating activities taking place in the home.
The home provides a friendly environment with kind caring staff from the handyman to the senior carers. I would highly recommend this home, they do an amazing job always with a smile on their face often under difficult circumstances.
I miss visiting my dad but I understand reasons behind measures. Today was my dad's birthday, the weather not good but the staff brought my dad into the foyer so I could see him and wish him a Happy Birthday whilst maintaining social distancing. I feel my dad is in good hands whilst residing there.

The atmosphere in the home was happy and it felt like being part of a family. The staff were kind, friendly, approachable and always available to discuss the needs of residents. They were gentle with my husband and always treated him with dignity. The sense of humour and cheerful banter were much appreciated,
as was the welcome from whoever opened the door. More lavatories would be useful. Several residents enjoyed the gentle activity of singing to a piano accompaniment. Please, could the rather nice piano in the lounge be tuned?

During my father-in-law's time spent in the care home, he has improved vastly both in his health and his general outlook on life. He is able to mix with other residents and join in the activities should he wish to do so, or he can retire to his room and relax. Previously, he sat in his chair in his
bungalow with no communication with the outside world.

My mother has been in this home since December 2018 and is always saying how good the staff, food and cleanliness is.
I personally have found all the staff from management down to the cleaners always pleasant, friendly and very caring with all the residents. Nothing is a problem to any of them.

My mother's care couldn't have been better. The staff were kind, compassionate and would go the "extra mile" to ensure those in their care were looked after to the highest standards. Nothing was too much trouble, not only for the residents but for family and friends visiting. They not only took care
of the residents but they also befriended them establishing a good rapport, talking to them as equals and making every effort to include everyone in the many activities they arrange. When my mother's health, unfortunately, began to deteriorate we were kept informed and included in every aspect of her care and wellbeing. She was kept clean, comfortable and pain-free in her final days. We couldn't have wished for anything more from them for our mother.

Excellent care for my mother. Nothing too much trouble for the staff, every effort made to encourage and include mam in all activities.
We (relatives and visitors) were always made welcome whatever time we arrived. My mother became ill and unfortunately passed away. She had excellent care and we
were informed every step of the way and were with her when she passed away. The staff looked after us (her family) with the same care as was offered mam, nothing was too much trouble.
I made many friends with the staff and residents whilst visiting mam. I still call in to see everyone and am made very welcome every time.

This care home is highly satisfactory. Very good to patients. Good food. My aunt was a nursing sister. She is very happy and content. I don't think she could do any better. Staff are very helpful.

My mother has vascular dementia. I have found it difficult to understand the illness. The staff will always help to intervene with help and advice.
Any medical problems, the staff always get the doctor or nurse out.
The home is well kept. Visiting can be done most of the day or night.

Meet Sarah Jones.
Sarah has been an integral part of Langley Park Care Home since December 2008, beginning her career as a carer after completing her college placements at the home. Over the years, Sarah has steadily advanced through various roles, including senior carer and deputy manager, before being appointed as care home manager in November 2020.


Her journey is a testament to her dedication, hard work, and passion for providing exceptional care. Along the way, Sarah earned her Level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care Management, giving her the skills and expertise to effectively manage and lead the team at Langley Park. Her deep understanding of the home, having worked in several capacities, allows her to create a warm, supportive environment for both residents and staff.


Sarah’s long-standing commitment to Langley Park Care Home and her hands-on approach ensure that residents receive the very best care, with a focus on dignity, respect, and well-being.
