Mother-In-Law was only a resident for a short time for her end-of-life care. The home is lovely, very clean and tidy. We arrived just after Christmas and the home was beautifully decorated. The setting is beautiful. The staff are amazing, very caring and compassionate. Couldn't have wished for a better
place to stay.

My late father was transferred from hospital to Lindisfarne Ouston for the last part of his palliative care.
From the moment we were met at the door to view the facilities, until his passing, we cannot thank all the staff enough. Every member of staff handled my father's situation in a very caring
and empathetic way.
As a family, we were involved in all aspects of his care, and we were looked after and supported at all times.
Thank you to everyone involved, you made a very difficult time more bearable.

My mam was in Lindisfarne Ouston care home from January 2017 because of mobility problems and Alzheimers. Unfortunately, she died one week ago.

During her time there, we found everyone from the manager and office staff, the carers, the cook and her helpers and even the cleaning staff were all very

caring and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.

My family will treasure the memories of my mam's time there. She was very happy and settle there. We couldn't thank them all enough for what they did for her.

My mam suffers from vascular dementia and has a complicated medical history and found herself unable to cope at home even with a care package in place. With this in mind, I visited Lindisfarne Ouston and spoke to several residents about their stay within the home. They all felt their needs were being
met and were happy there. With that information, mam joined the Lindisfarne family in September 2016. I feel the manager of the home runs a tight ship in leading all her staff. The home is always clean and tidy, all residents including mam are well groomed. The food is all home cooked providing an excellent range of choice from breakfast through to evening meal with snacks throughout the day. I have always been welcomed to join mam for lunch when visiting, and I must say the food is very tasty. With the care and commitment from the staff, mam has settled very well and I now call it home. It is good to see mam smiling again in a safe and caring environment.

My father in law was a resident in Lindisfarne Ouston for over 3 years. He had Parkinson's and Dementia. The care he received was outstanding. The staff genuinely care for their residents. Our family was kept up to date with any changes or concerns and nothing was any trouble. The staff are excellent

It was a difficult decision to make putting my dad into a care home. We looked at many homes in the area and this one really stood out. It's bright and cheerful, really spacious, has various social rooms, excellent home cooked food and as we now know excellent caring staff.
Care homes don't get the
recognition they deserve. Some are poor but this one is really good. The staff are great, not only to the residents they care for but to their families too.
If you're looking for a new home for a loved one, it is the most difficult decision you will have to make, please look at Lindisfarne in Ouston.

My mother was a resident here for 6 1/2 years before her death in October 2015. She suffered from Parkinson's Disease, Lewy Body Dementia and had a stroke in 2009 which left her without mobility and a rapid loss of all effective communication skills meaning that her support needs were high. We found
that during her time at Lindisfarne she was extremely well cared for by a dedicated team of staff. There appears to be a small turnover of staff which resulted in all those involved in my mother's care knowing her needs very well. She could not have been given more personal attention with staff always willing to listen to us. There was never an issue with calling in medical support if they felt the need and we were kept informed of all cases where medical help was sought. Any minor issues we needed to raise were listened to and responded to swiftly.
