My grandad entered Moorlands initially for respite care after a fall and a broken wrist, meaning he couldn't manage at home. From the moment he arrived I noticed that all the staff actually CARE! They also promote independence, which for my grandad was extremely important, the fact he could do as he
pleased. It gives us great peace of mind that I know that everyone in there is friendly, approachable and helpful and would go above and beyond the job description to help the residents. The staff are amazing at keeping the atmosphere as energetic and friendly as possible and the fact we are welcome to go at any time and made to feel welcome is lovely. I can't recommend this home highly enough.

My wife has been in residence at Moorlands for 2 years now. I cannot praise the management and staff at Moorlands enough. My wife is cared for in a sympathetic and professional way, to a standard I could not hope to match. I am welcomed to visit at any time, for as long as I like. As I said in my first
review the peace of mind this gives is priceless.

I cannot express my gratitude to the Manager all the team for the wonderful caring way they have looked after my Dad for the past 14 months. From day one we were treated with respect and compassion and from the very first night I relaxed knowing he was safe, well looked after and cared for in a way
that you would only think possible by family not care home staff. He was so unhappy at his respite care and not managing at home with other outside care providers I dint think there was a hope to make him happy and regain some of his health and mental well being. But he has despite his advancing medical issues improved physically and mentally. Doubly incontinent and thin on arrival last March he has no incontinence issues and is very well nourished on the excellent food prepared by Ashley and the team. Within weeks I saw him laughing and content with the world; a sight that I had not seen in more than 10 years. He loves having his cat with him and they care for her too.

My mother was a resident at Moorlands for six years until her death in November 2015. Her care during those years, by all staff at Moorlands, was totally first class. When my mother had to go into residential care she was so fortunate to have placed in such a caring, nurturing, warm, welcoming and loving
environment. Nothing was too much trouble for the team to ensure her mental and physical comfort and well being. The home also provided a wide range of stimulating activities - something to suit all.
I live a good 250 miles away and I always had the peace of mind that my mother was safe and loved.

The care provided to my mother has been second to none. The staff at Moorlands are fantastic. They're caring, compassionate and always welcoming when you visit. They keep you up to date with any problems and are always ready to listen if you have any concerns. There is often entertainment for the residents,
a great favourite being the hatching eggs. I have always felt the care provided to my mum is tailored to her needs and is excellent. Mum is treated with dignity and respect. Moorlands also provided domiciliary care for my mother in her own home, before it became necessary to mover her into residential care. This was also excellent. I am grateful to them all for looking after my mum so well and would have no hesitation in recommending them to any one. Thank you to you all.

Friendly and caring staff and managers, the home has a family atmosphere that can be felt in entering the building and a 'homely' feeling.
